Hey man, sorry for the 2 year late comment, but I have a question. Where does the prayer sound effect come from? Is it a part of the Alive Civilian population module? Love your choice of mods, will be running some of them on our community dedicated server!

does ALiVE run with less frames when it is not on a server

Yes. The AI and a lot of the other physics etc are handled on the server. But it all depends on your system too

How did you achieve this optimization?

Key with ALiVE missions is to start with one faction to spawn in my opinion. Also the CQB module seems to be really bad with frame rates
