Its amazing how much more professional these women present and how much easier and quicker the grip up is than the men. Its straight down to business with these lady's. No trying to cheat out a cheap win. No trash talk. Just pure power and beautiful technique. Much respect.

Who ever had the buckle, lost. Although Fia almost went against that, but she got the elbow fouls (not that she would have won that round anyway). Probably wasn't a "fair strap".

I imagine Heidi will end up winning, since she started on the "winning side". Is this a fair strap? (to mitigate the buckle disadvantage more than usual). Fia was doing unexpectedly good in the 5th round on the "losing side" though (even though the elbow placement wasn't the best, and she would have lost that round even if she didn't double foul). Oh, tie. I forgot that was a possible result. Yea 6th round, Fia expectedly crushed it on the "winning side" again.

I'd be interested to see what their power feels like compared to a male competitor at close weight

Again a battle for better side of a strap. Although Reisek was much stronger when on the buckle side, for me she performed better

This match would've been Fia's if she didn't grip low in match 1 and 3. She was clearly stronger up top.

7:16 Reisek's elbow came off by about a foot and she still couldn't pin Andersson. You've gotta respect Heidi Andersson for that.

Low body fat aswell. However I've seen girls with strong jaws who clearly aren't muscular in any way with strong facial features too.

Fia Reisek clearly the stronger of the 2 and she only got better with time despite Heidi boasting about her endurance. If Fia had gone to regrip in the matches she lost, she woulda won. I never see any female armwrestlers re-gripping, switching to another style, or climbing on the opponents hand in drawn out matches. I dont know if its lack of table IQ or what. It seems like the men (larrat, brzenk etc) just have way more tools to work with on the table. Every single match here they just go to the side until one of them loses.

Janis is Latvian, I guess they both just have very thick accents, and it sounds abit similar

it is a pity the very good friends who know each other of childhood fia 9 years old & heidi 11. so against each other competing. I do not like that see. it gives a little report about the two. You can clearly see that they really like each other. and all this just for the ego the glory the knowledge and the money.

Andersson's face is a square.
