this no bullshit He weak because this want screenwriters. GG has 5 elements, even a Hydro element to fight against the Pyro enemy. But he didn't use any of the elements and ran out of steam too quickly. The screenwriters stupidly made him weaker, literally. Remember all the cutscenes with his battles, in them he was not so weak for that time, and now he has definitely gained combat experience in many battles, wields 5 elements, was able to defeat 3 Harbingers (for 1 he had to arrange a revenge when from a 1st weakling he became a 3rd elemental strong warrior, and the second was generally an Avatar) He was able to defeat the Electro God, and here he is no different from an ordinary warrior, except that he was able to get out of her prison of blades, but no more. His potential was stupidly ruined. With his powers, he should have held out longer, should have fought back much more worthily, should have used his magic and combined them, but he didn't do ANY of that. Just because the writers wanted it that way.

I think that point of these fights is to show that pure strength won’t get you anywhere.

Arlecchino is seriously becoming my favorite harbinger she’s isn’t necessarily evil or good she has her own agenda. Although she didn’t agree with the previous Knave’s form of punishment with flatout duel till death her version of killing is completely erasing the children’s memory away and granting them a new life, she cares for all of them but you can’t just betray family even Lyney said to us “you may not agree with our methods but we aren’t evil people” I see why she’s ranked #4 as a harbinger

@@eziosama5224 1. the knowledge buff was negligible at best 2. fighting the raiden shogun was simply to save thoma with no regard for their life + the second duel had the help of people's visions on top of yae coming in clutch 3. childe is a much weaker harbinger and still almost beat the traveller, albeit they only had access to geo and anemo 4. it would be even worse character development if the traveller could simply win against arlecchino, shes the fourth of the fatui harbingers which has her power level JUST below that of a god. any time we have fought a god (raiden, scara) it has been with immense help. to think the traveller could win against her with only the siblings and freminet's help is so silly lmao

Makes me wonder. If he wasnt strong enough to beat her, will be different to the other Fatui harbringers, the enemies from Natlan to the final nation, and even the cryo archon, the Tsaritsa. Even so, what and how the traveler could do if he faces his/her sibling alonce again on the end of the journey😮😮😮.

Such a shame she doesn't use wings/spiderlegs as a weapon, like two additional swords from her back. For example on 0:55, how insane would it be if she used these wings in such a way for the first time and shocked everyone?

I think those wings are mentioned in one of boss mat as a wing that used spider silk (?!) as part of material which can be dangerous and can even poison anyone who got in touch with it. Since The Knave doesn’t actually try to take everyone life in this duel, she decided to hold back instead. (Correct me if I got some of the info wrong)

The siblings didnt even use their vision. They really control themselves.

The Traveler has always won bigger battles with help. Still, this wasn't as big of a loss as some are making it out to be. "You're stronger than I expected. Still... Not strong enough to beat me." That + the hand on the Traveler's shoulder I interpret as respect. A way of saying, 'You're good, and getting there... But not today.' (Contrast her harsh criticism of Lyney and co.'s attacks.) Pyro power, Natlan XP, a couple good allies, and possibly the Pyro Archon should give the Traveler what they need to stand against Capintino if it comes to that.

I think they were both testing each other (I mean Arle is a fatui, fatui are still considered the enemy to traveler). So the traveler wanted to not show their powers so that once time comes they can surprise the harbingers with their powers. I mean, we didn't fight dottore, scara technically erased his whole existence so harbingers wouldn't know how strong we are through his words, Signora got killed by an Archon not us, and Childe is 11th which to high ranking harbingers may seem reasonable that we won in a duel against him since he is still ""weak"" thus he's the 11th harbinger. Soo myeah I feel like traveler did that on purpose (never reveal your true potential to the villain).

This is so insulting that I can understand why Traveler mains just ship characters and use head canon. Traveler was regarded by SKIRK as being impressed enough by her to go toe to toe with the Narwhal and not have to use "power from beyond/outside". Neuvillette only helped us, we did most of the heavy lifting in that encounter. This is absurd. Traveler has FIVE elements and we have SEEN them use them against Childe...so why never again? It's so dumb. Navia's quest Trav used 2 elements but like Jesus christ. It will feel SO dumb in Natlan when we meet Capitano. Like actually stupid. They could have fought to a standstill at the least with Arlecchino being a bit winded, but still having more in the tank than the Traveler. But NO GOTTA MAKE THE TRAVELER LOOK WEAK TO SEE A FIVE STAR THAT WAS ALREADY GOING TO SELL LIKE HOT CAKES!!!

Neuvillette was doing way more than just assisting if it wasn't for him 100% we wouldn't be able to beat it. Skirk was talking to the entire group in general not just us specifically. Traveller is strong but the day I definitely not on the level of a god or the level below (which Arlecchino seems to be on)
