Arlecchino has been the most morally sound among the harbingers so far, even more than Childe ( who let's not forget, willing to destroy all of Liyue) i find this revelation surprising, especially considering her cover and all the voiceline we have about her from other harbingers ( or the former one) but, it's perfect, it fits Arlecchino's own strategy, that Prejudice actually serve her well as her " Cover" At the same time, she also not " lovey dovey" with her children, she knows that they are still in the Fatui and they still have missions to be done, therefore they need to be strong, useful and discipline, but she done all her missions with the most effective methods possible, the way she got hydro Gnosis in the end is by far the least bloody and harmless among all region we have so far, by using the prophecy to her advantage, helping as many fontainians as possible, made Neuvilette indebted to her, and in the end , the gnosis are being handed peacefuly The way she treat her children that want to be free is also admirable to me, she still require them to fight for their freedom, it's not their power that she sees, but their grit and determination, with her special power she manage to make them forget everything about house of the hearth, in the end, her released " Children" become a determined and strong human being that would not squander their hard fought freedom

ummmm in a way i get what you're saying but also no, if anything Arlecchino would probably be just as frustrated with Ei as she was with Furina. Ei, despite ALL HER CITIZENS praying and begging for her to stop the decrees and vision hunts, literally continued to IGNORE all her people's cries and prayers in favor of selfishly pursuing her ideal eternity that literally no one wanted. (((heck Makoto herself had to find a way to WAIT for Ei to realize shit before she could finally give her last dying words of advice to her.))) Also im pretty sure Arlecchino wouldn't view Ei kindly for leaving Kunikuzushi to believe he'd been abandoned, unwanted, and unworthy of family. even if Ei 'let him go', from the "kid" aka Scara's POV, he's had to live his entire life abandoned and left with no one. heck if Scara ended up in Fontaine and met Arlecchino instead of Dottore, she probably would've taken him in the HotH as well (((it probably would've been much better for Scara too instead of the shit he went through with Dottore.))).

Most likely, because Aether help her children, help her with Clervie and is one who doesn't have fear of her when they need to speak, if she have something for Aether, is respect and appreciation.
