Yeah, not all ops are created equal. I remember Yii complaining about how insane the abyssal hunter modules were compared to his favorites like Angelina. And I'm half convinced that Mlynar was cooked up to allow Kyo to make low rarity clears for the increasingly difficult stages.

I think they make more difficult stages after they make stronger and stronger ops. Like Surts while being strong is no longer can solve any stage by her self. After Texas and Yato stages now have way way more elites and other strong shit all over the map so you have to clear it with multiple ops.

You're kinda right about Mlynar, he WAS created with the intent of trivializing the game for peoples who don't want to clear stages by themself, either by lack of motivation, time, or plain up skill, and rely on guides to progress in the game. if stupidly broken operator weren't a thing a large part of the playerbase would just be left behind, personaly I don't have an issue with that, I just don't use them. My problem is whith the community whining like littles bitches every time an operator isn't straight up retarded to use... "OMG you have to put efforts to maximize Ho'olheyak damages and Hoerderer can't be used as a centurion, PLX FIX THEM HG OMGOMG", it's fucking tiring to engage with ANY discution about operator because of that.

Still, I suppose that in any squad, if you want to dedicate a slot for a vanguard, Ines is going to be the best pick. I cant prove it, but it really seems that way.

@@The158Outlaws it really does, the agent archetype is truly a game changer since the release of cantabile (decent dp generate at even e0 lv 1). not to mention their fast-deploy trait, allowing them to be repositioned more swiftly than a typical charger vanguard (a bit lacking in dmg and survivability tho, but the point of vanguard is to hold the early wave, and they can do that just fine)

I m6'd her once but almost always use her s2. I also rarely use her as a vanguard. Like bagpipe I use her as a low cost unit that can generate a minor amount of DP but her utility and threat removal, the only time where I felt ines generate DP was doing H 12-4 where she was able to bind and kill the guys with ammo before they could steal 9 DP from me. (because she would stealth and be unhittable as she kills them.) so I would say her DP gen is poor and would classify her as an 'agent' and not a vanguard.

@@bloodred255 well, their trait requires a constant flow of enemies, so it could be tricky (and utterly useless) sometimes 😂 I used her s1m3 in current annihilation, for example, as the only vanguard lol. It's quite ideal condition in that case

Yes. She essentially killed the whole class. If in other classes (even guards) there is some kind of competition, in branches like Vanguard and Medic, the competition is kinda dead ngl. Which is why I predict we arent going to get any good 6* vanguard or medic anytime soon. Medics though, have hopes for chain healers. Vanguards are just dead ngl

They gave Ines alll the best possible kits and gave Vigil nothing. Even with module Vigil is still hot dog water yet I have an E2 Vigil and my Ines is still level one because I like meme IS3 runs.

Huge, my vigil is e2 lvl90 s3m3.

ines and in my case flametail is lifesaver, for printing dp, doing damage while holding lane ( i dont have mountain thats why) in early or even until the last enemies slained. when their skill active they do goes like pseudoguard in term of damage, i never fan of flagpipe anyway definetely my go to vg is both of them, sometimes texas for extra dp which if i retrospect it, i was pulling ines for her design back then ( i mean who wont ?) but then she did better than i expected, also hi for fellow quibai enjoyer too :D

For tough stages I always run Ines + Texas. I have flametail too(not built) I have saga, too(not built) I have muelsyse (not built) hell I have vigil and siege (BUILT) Yet when it comes to the toughest of the toughest, none of these 6* work better than Texas(that's what I think) With ines on hand, laneholding isnt a problem, and when it isnt, Texas gives more dp than myrtle at the start of the game, and she is quite tanky. And yes, have you joined my discord? My fellow discord members keep outvoting my Qiubai Awesome video, non-cultured.

at least she helped us escape the eternal flagpipe meta but. yeah she’s scary

Honestly, when flagpipe was around, there still was space for competition, now? tbh there are so many units that are good in the opening of the stage that having Ines solo is usually just enough. Crazy how meta evolves. and even if you need some extra dp, Ines is so strong, you dont even need that bagpipe sp, cause you are not dying anytime soon anyways!

ever since her banner i probably used her in every stage i played so if we had some kind of ´´stat check´´ ines would be my most used 100%

Yep, every time I play meta she is an insta pick.

One simple answer: She’s a fan favorite character from the story and HG didn’t want angry fans knocking at their door if she was bad. On another note Ines has pretty much finally powercrept Myrtle, at least for high end content.

I pulled for ines because i like the character, the fact that she is strong is a bonus to me. I E2 lv90 M9 her basically the instant i got her and i have her as my assistant since her release. The thing i like the most about her instead of the flagpipe setup is that she does something other than Dp, because personally myrthle (i don't have arknights Jeanne D'arc, and i don't use elysium anymore) as strong as she is, after doing dp she's a sitting duck. With ines i can generate dp, deal damage, support the team against invisible and slow/bind. I will most likely do the same with ascalon now, i don't care about meta i like collecting the characters i like.

HG: we are sorry that one of the 4stars is too strong and defy meta, so we create a 6 stars that put the 4 stars back in their place.

I'm so glad she's not a limited unit. I can't wait to be able to buy her in a few weeks when the 6 star selector ticket comes out for the arturia event.

Kind of reminds me of how Bagpipe shook things up, when she first came.

Hoederer was lazy and asked Ines to come instead, if you like strong units, youll probably be happy about it over time.

Ines is the best vanguard because of her utility. Her bind is crazy good. I still haven't build Bagpipe despite i've had her for a long time now, and I don't really see a point in doing so. If I want Ines to take a rest and try something else, I usually use Saga and Flametail. Now lets imagine how good Ines will be, when she gets a module.

Yeah, she may not have anything to hit, but because of her bind and damage you usually dont even need dp, she is that good. And even if you do, just place her agressively, she is literally invisisble.

God dammit I don't care if they release a Vanguard with Mlynar damage, Penance revenge damage, Suzu debuffs and Myrtle DP generation, FLAMETAIL STAYS IN THE DAMN TEAM. I still want Ines though, 2 DPS Vanguards is better than just one after all.
