    Another opinion, I think they should add an interaction button to the other ops that's inside the team when not in battle, like telling them to stand still, operate things; like moving this thing over there or rotate this and even grab this. This mechanic will allow the Dev to add more intricate and difficult puzzle or task. And also if they got disturbed like from a shockwave, they'll get stunned like for a good 1,5 seconds making some puzzle that runs on time more difficult Or maybe add them when fighting; like telling them to open skill on a specific time, tell them to stay still or dodge an attack. This can be quite challenging on an actual fight since if you don't gave them command, they'll ended up following you and just eat the enemy's attack like it's breakfast to them What do you think?

    Yes but I don't think adding a command during battles is good. It adds more buttons to press. Maybe like a combat setting to turn on and off when they can cast Regular skills but Ultimates you have to cast on your own.

    While your viewpoint is interesting, I would say that you missed a few points behind some aspects, I will comment about your view for each section now: 1. Story agreed. Right now it's long and has a bit of the same trope. But it does get better near the end of the beta setting up a good mystery and connecting the 2 Arknight games together. But the beginning def needs improvements. 2. Talos is plain and bland atmosphere precisely because it's an unexplored planet. The zone that you are in is the Frontline which is the battlefield which as you expect only has a few human outposts. The aesthestics/graphics will def get better and more refined though so you can be less worried about that. 3. Exploration and puzzles: Honestly yea a bit bland right now, but I think it's mostly because they want to test the features more in this tech test. 4. Combat mechanics and skills: The AI def got improved since they used a diff version of the game for the TGA trailer. When the Triaggelos throws its attack, you can clearly see your teammates running in different directions. This is a smart move considering that the Triaggelos has the ability to move at very fast speed to the target after attacking, this essentially minimize the damage to all teammates. And the trailer was dropped lit 1 week after the CN ended. So it's safe to say they just didn't bother adding the improved AI to the tech test and this tech test is like what a lot of peps have said, a test to see people's reaction. Also the attacks have more weight to them in the TGA trailer. I think the ult replacing your skill wouldn't a problem since a lot of the ults are just plain better versions of the skills. It can get annoying yes but I think it wouldn't be as much of a problem as you think. 5. Also yea, the weapon is def gonna be sorted into users not class. Fjall and Ember are both defenders btw despite using completely different weapons. Also it seems that they either grouped characters or the class will be divided into subbranches. Because Fjall is a healer defender while Ember is a utility defender( as in she provides invincibility to the whole team and prove constant orbs) 6. For characters, ye I agree, they shouldn't bring back old characters, it wouldn't make any sense in AK context anyways. Also for additional info, they have confirmed in one of the loading screen that each character will get at least 2 skills after a certain ascension like AK, basically giving you more playstyle to mess around with. 7. Player's retention: Ah yes. For your info, you won't be basically using your sanity at all in the end game. Why? Because your factory will do everything for you. You see, there's a neat thing called the trading post. You get a lot of mats from this trading post including char's ascension materials and exp mats. And you can trade by making materials, and you make materials by you guess it, factory farming. It's so damn effective that you can get your characters maxed immediately if your factory is just that good. A majority of your game will be maximizing your factory's efficency. The only actual rng part about this game is the substats numbers which is only like about 3% difference so it doesn't even matter much. Game needs to reten players, but I think that grinding heavily rng-based substats on your gears is just down right cheap and sadly it has become the norm for games that want players. The thing that can reten the players is of course the dailies and future expectations for the game. AK is still alive despite having none of that bs rng gear system, they rely more on expectations rather than rng. Endfield is also doing that and really well too with how much potential it has.

    Thank you so much for your insights and taking the time to fully put context on it. I will take this into account and see if they ever change anything (which im sure they are) and make an updated video but hopefully next time i'll be able to get in.

For characters, ye I agree, they shouldn't bring back old characters" Honestly, I think they should, and is probably why they removed the year and references in the lore making Endfield 500 years after the events of AK. when I first heard about Endfield I was really excited I'd get to actually control and move around as some of my favorite AK Operators, and then after finding out it was 500 years after the events of AK, I lost interests until the unveiled Angelina, and then everyone was like "oh but she's a clone of the Original Angelina" and I lost interests once again. But they can and are probably going to make Endfield take place a few years AFTER the events of AK so they can bring over more OG Characters which I am most definitely in favor of, and will get me to play Endfield. If not then I won't even bother trying. This would also be a good chance for HG to make some of the characters they dropped the ball within AK more relevant and useful (Here's looking at you Ho'olheyak, one of the coolest characters in terms of aesthetics and character design, but one of the most useless Operators to use on the field).

    at no 6 i doubt u ever play the original game since u seems clueless, endfield basically sequels to og arknight, watch the endfield opening it state that “pioneer from terra found a gate at northern side” and this is related to IS 4 lore that there is indeed some kind of gate that can connecting world,

    @@kaycex1 I'm literally an AK player that's why I said that. I said it wouldnt make sense in AK context since it takes place in the far future. Most chars would be dead by then except for some long life race. That's why old chars dont make sense unless they are clones which is just kinda cheap.

    when it comes to combat the thing id like to see most is switch techs, when you switch to a class there is a specific list of things that if you switch at that time you can activate their skill regardless of cooldown, so switching to a defender right before getting hit would block the hit and activate a defense skill for example that way even with the ai not being so smart your switching around so much you dont really notice

    Oh yeah I get what you mean. Like when you are about to get damaged, since we slow down time it makes sense to change to a defender and trigger whatever skill it has to negate damage.

    I wanted everyone's opinion to settle down and to get the concensus down to a Tee since I wasn't able to get in the tech test. But this is still fine for me to be able to see what changed.

    I think they'll probably do a "Vigilo" type event in Endfield telling story from the past self of the Endministrator. And that's where they'll connect all the dots towards the IS (Journey to Samy, if I'm correct) and we will fight whatever the abomination in that IS. Maybe even add a new type of debuff to the Ops like the curse of Daemons that slowly killing your ops if you don't have a specific potions (Maybe they'll also add more healing option just like how Therapist and Wandering medics work in the Original Arknights). I might get myself heated up here but I'd love to see that happen you know... Sorry if my english is bad, I tried to use google translate but the translate got like, jammed? Anyway, that's my opinion watching this part 02:00

    You got a great point. A vigilo type story for the Endministrator might give shed a light on how the journey towards sami happened. As for the debuffs one, i'm sure the devs have something cooked up just like in OG Arknights.

    Good video but, I feel like you need to expand your perspective more because some of these are decent opinions while others are.. honestly not that great. i wont repeat what others have said except for some specifically "environment" and "player retention" If you've played games like Death Stranding (Which you really should) you can understand and even appreciate the "plain" aesthetic of the game, the things in the environment aren't there to convey a hidden meaning they're there to exist in a dead and desolate world and imo endfield does a really good job conveying an unexplored world the only thing they need to improve are the greenery PLAYER RETENTION i am not going to sugar coat it your idea is abysmal for the players and the company, i wont try to take up much of your time but it would contradict gacha system and induce over-grinding (genshin main problem) and dead zones are innevitable in most games so, whats my solution? as simple and predictable as it may sound its undoubtedly the more player friendly option "Rogue-like" specifically one that partially takes from god of war ragnarok valhalla system where you go through areas youve been and collect Relics similar to AK Integrated strategy and at the end you fight buffed bosses youve fought before the sugar coating on this gamemode would be making the gamemode costin no sanity to play but costing sanity to claim rewards after beating with a weekly cap similar to AK annihilation

    Honestly, i was so hype when the trailer was released from nowhere, but now that i've seen both technical test i have lost all my interest for Endfield. I think the combat system doesn't allow for any skill expression and is visually extremely unsatifying ( there is no impact when you hit an ennemy, the character feel so clanky ). Imo it's the worst i have seen in any rpg like gacha game including Genshin ( which is a REALLY REALLY low bar ). I ain't interested in playing waiting for cd simulator. The movement are completely uniteresting, the is no movement mechanic and your character can't grab a fucking ledge which makes for the worth world exploration in any gacha game. Speaking of the world it is dull and uniteresting. The world of og Arknights feel 10 time more visually interesting despite not being able to roam free. As for the factory system sorry i don't even remotely understand what the fun in that. And in top of that i think a Satifactory type game should not be live service. And they choosed to makes half the game about that. I was never so dissapointed by something i waited for so much, as a huge Arknights player and lore enjoyer it's hard, but i probably won't play the game.

    While I wasn't able to get the full feel of the combat, I only get my info from testers but i'm sure it is as you say. But thankfull this is still a test and if the next round of playtesting and almost nothing changes then what's the point of those tests and feedbacks before? I REALLY hope they pull it off soon since so far, the combat needs an entire overhaul than improvement.

    Do you know what *Technical test* mean? WW transition from CBT1 to CBT2, they changed 90% of the game. Endfield still in tech test and you should expecting the gameplay / story completely overhaul

    @@zynczinc1443 The argument that "the game still in alpha/beta test" need to stop. It starting to sound like arknights fans can't take criticism. The purpose of alpha/beta test is to get player feedback so they can change the game to the way the player more like it. That the reason WW looks the way it is now because of player feedback and the dev listen to them. If we just stay silent the dev will think we like the current state of the game and won't change much of it. as long as it's a fair criticism and not those hate comments made by hoyo bootlicker then let them voice their opinion.
