Except… clues. The whole clues aspect of the game. Major component- but how, when? The concept of getting clues, -character sheet- scenario card, I don’t have it figured out to my satisfaction yet. 😁

Can you explain when to use spell cards, during which phase? Example "Flesh Ward", is possible to use it during monster phase to mitigate damage? Is it discarded when used? If one uses a an item card, is it then discarded?

I enjoy your thoroughness, but if you're going to talk about something in a video tutorial it would benefit all to visually see examples of what you're talking about. There was like 3 minutes of just you talking and for me who's already read the rules that's fine. But that may not be the case for all. Just my constructive criticism.

@@CynicallyAwesome The example that stands out to me honestly is your description of actions (6:30 - 13:30) where yes there are definitely some examples of what you're talking about, they are few and far between. It could use some more close ups and specific shots of what you're talking about. I dont think you can be redundant with tutorial videos honestly. The more visual representation of what you're describing the better, otherwise it may as well be a manual. I really just wanted to help and hope I dont come off as patronizing or pretentious.

Hey, Love how thorough this video is! The breakdown is super easy to understand now! My friends and I have been playing wrong the past few rounds apparently ^_^" I've a question though: The Ab. Servant goes for a target with the most clues, correct? If any of the investigators have no clues to hold, does that mean that the monster stays in it's space?

TJMSJ No. It means every investigator is tied with “0” clues, so you all get to choose who it goes for. Same thing if you had more than one player with “1” clue- with ties, you decide where it goes, but it does not stay still until it reaches its destination

@@CynicallyAwesome Then it's safe to assume this applies for monsters who go for the prey with most remnants but do not have any then? Like, monsters with the (*) movement?

What happens when your investigator exhausts and disengages a monster in it's space, but stays there? During the monster phase the monster readies, but does it also engage the investigator immediately, hence you are unable to draw an encounter? Or when a new round starts again?

the former. in the monster phase it readies and engages, so yes- during the encounter phase, you are unable to draw an encounter. better get moving

Oooh, I had this feeling I had done somsthing wrong when I beat this same scenario on my first try today!! Instead of drawing a card from the item deck, I did take several items straight from the display. My motorbike cop had a total of 4 actions per round, one extra focus, a few items for mitigating damage, two allies, and some spells I never used xD Agnes the waitress also had an ally and like 4-5 spells I never used lol. Extra movement and actions helped a lot.

I'm the 6,666th view. That's got to be ominous, no?

I think I'll stay with Draughts (Checkers)....life's too short, whoever invented this game needs to be incarcerated in Arkham Asylum !

Ew, this new edition looks lame. I loved the old board.
