Closing Abang in Chandrakauns would have made her Gurus RaGa Sisters happy, who, no doubt, will stand proud of this Prodigy's growing consistency. Fully Blessed by Goddess Saraswathi. Blessed we too are! (Just one Correction: it's "Udhiram kottudhadi, NOT Uthiram) Violinist Gokul too was too brilliant. Excellent Support from Percussionists Vineeth & Gopalakrishnan. Her singing has matured over years, her RTP improved. She is immersed in the song the way MS amma was known to and it is so endearing. Practice and humility being the keys, I hope the Great Almighty blesses her with both and in time she attains the great insights maestros before her have.

An excellent concert by the young vidushi spoorthi rao. Gifted with a sweet-toned voice, she employs it capably to render intricate swaraprayogams, gamakas, neraval etc with a very clear diction. Neat presentation with a high energy- uptake; perseverance & guru-kripa pays 🙏 Kudos 👍 Starting with nAttai (umaiyOrbAganE) she gave us a very moving varAli (eti janmamiti - saint's kriti of prahlAda bhakti vijayam, wherein prahlAda laments about not having darsan of perumal) a lesser known rAga eesamanOhari (manasa sri rAmachandruni) then an excellent RTP in sarasAngi (tuned by her guru RaGa) - raga delineation is 11 min (👍) and then tAnam & pallavi (meandering to ranjani & todi) - awesome rendition 👏She concluded with bharatiyAr's chinnanchiru kiliyE ( rAgamalikA) The violin support by Vidwan V.S.Gokul was very good. The percussion support by Vidwan K.H.Vineet (mridangam) and Vidwan KVG in ganjira was very soothing 👍

V.S.Gokul, and on Mridhangam by Shri. K.H.Vineeth and by Shri. K.V.Gopalakrishnan on Kanjira was indeed a great one to be commended for the very dedicated and fine effort put in by Kumari Spoorthi Rao in her building the Ragass and aalaapanaas with consummate effort in making the same a very memorable one. The Violonist was equally adept too., thus enhancing the concert. The part played by the two Percussion specialists were also equal to the measure. All in all it was a concert of traditional class with good audition facility of the organisers at the centre making the sound effect extremely desirable and splendidly done

Go with the adverse comments (of your singing comments only ) and improve/ correct upon it. Your gurus knows it v well and will be telling. And great vidvans hearing u, when they meet in person wd suggest ideas for improvement. Take it seriously and adhere to them. U will flourish flawless in 5 to 6 years if u go with the same interest and attitude. Way to go ma. Take care. Prayers for yr growth more and more.
