They really had the guts to animate a kid getting executed, just shows how brutal the lore and the players can be in ARK, and that's just the tip of the iceberg

I wish they made Rockwell more complex like in the Explorer Notes instead of having him just straight up sinister from the start. Would have made his eventual descent into madness much more impactful.

Love it on how they kept it more accurate to the notes and didn’t just go off of what people would think would be appropriate to show these days kinda sad how some people were saying that it was bad because of a relationship between two characters even though it really wasn’t that deep as it is explained in the explorer notes from ASE and ASA

Either they feed it well enough or its like the old story about circus elephants. As babies they arent steong enough to pull out the stakes they are tied to so they dont bother trying when they grow up. They could have hatched this big rex and it couldnt break out when it was a baby so it doesnt bother now........or its some other thing

@@DaytonCollins-nu5so The show and the game have very different stories but the same characters and a similar overarching plot, so this may be a spoiler: The Arks didn't used to respawn people. They used to just select a different person from their vast catalogue of DNA samples to clone after a human died. The in-game explanation for respawning is that Helena eventually got to a point where she could reprogram the Arks to respawn the same people instead of selecting new ones. However, each Ark operated independently in this regard, so a human that dies on one Ark might have been randomly selected to spawn on a different one.

well if the animated series was 100 percent following the game lore, my answer would be no because this is before the time when revival was possible. Due to the fact that Helena was the one who figured out how to revive people after she ascended on earth. However at this point in time she is still on the island ark and has two more arks to get through before she even ascends.

Shit like this reminds me of the ending scene of extinction. All those arks landing and opening. Its supposed to be all hopeful and shit. First thing i thought when i saw it i was like "there is about to be so much bloodshed." People in ark lore are absolutely awful to eachother. The environment was best for survivors, and the type of people to actually thrive in the ark would generally not be nice people. Not the ones that managed to take control. Hell one of the live action trailers is someone on a raptor just fucking up a guy that freshly "spawned" in..washed up on the beach and all that.

If you wanna watch gruesome prehistoric death it’s better to just watch the show primal
