I try to play on one of the maps but then as I’m loading in it just sends me back to the host thing

I don't know why when i bought ark on ps4 the only free DLC are the center and Ragnarok, where are the other? Should i buy the season pass first to get them? I'm new to ark PS4 version, been playing on pc since early access.

I know im 3 months late but you get the island , fjordur , lost island , ragnorak , crystal island , the center and valguero free but genesis part 1 , genisis part 2 , abberation , scorched Earth and extinction need only come if you buy the ark dlcs / season pass

you've got to buy the season pass. It should come with the maps associated with the season, but I'm not sure.

Tip: if you're playing on xbox the dlcs are available on the game pass

When you’re in the engram tab, you will see a palm tree that is highlighted, unselect it and it will show you all the engrams of all the maps, dlc or not

True, the free maps are lit, but to my knowledge you can't get Rock Drakes or Reapers without Aberration or Gen 2

Na you can spawn in rock drakes they just don't spawn in naturally

Center is pretty garbage.. I wouldn’t be telling people the free maps are the best.. Extinction And Aberration are two of the best maps imo. And Genesis 2 while very over the top is a blast.

Genesis is not a good map dude you hunt drop you get op stuff like industrial forge

Uhhh first of all Gen2 is by far the best place to farm mats for 90ish % of all resources aberration is best for metal good for poly a lot of the paid dlcs have unique creatures second 150 is the vanilla cap you cannot find wild dinos that are tameable over 150 secondly you lose access to X creatures which have a higher max level that they can get before being deleted on official servers at 500 instead of 450 And there is no such thing as a best map in ark due to each having their own specialties The center has the best but also one of the most contested base locations snow north island has its snow cave highly contested Lost island also coming out has another base spot thats highly contested and incredibly easy to defend with a similar style water cave also on the map and in terms of resource gathering the official maps are in another level compared to the center, rag, val and lost island in most aspects and if we start counting element in for crafting tek items to transfer over gen2 is a must for anyone that pvps and wants to stay relevant after a week or 2 into a wipe or trying to get a good base down on any crossark
