Helpful tip! To avoid getting parasites (Which happens often, and can end you if you arent paying attention to your health.) you need to purify the water first. Keep in mind that you cannot make an infinite purified water source, it automatically reverts back to a normal water source if you put it in a bucket and place it down.

Some tips along way! You need flint to craft a flint hatchet from gravel And you. Need a plant fiber 2 of those crate a hatchet which you can break wood faster with or a stone axe u can find in a village 🫤 Village are OP spawn you can find everything you need in there to get started and backpacks too Bloodmoon when Dino- I mean mobs spawn A lot and it can get more special mobs like a lot And you can actually Tame those creatures like the flyer croc? That looks like a qutzel And that big dimotrrdon I forgot that names cuz this mod is SO OLD. As gold of curse nostalgia. Dragons can be tamed or something like that

I laughed so hard when he said he didn't know what anyone was talking about and that it didn't seem hard. He was just looting villages, and I knew he hadn't seen anything yet x'D Excited for the playthrough, getting sniped by your first dragon is an experience. Progressing through the game is the hard part, surviving is secondary x'D. The Nether is hell, the End isn't much better. Good luck.

Haven't played ark but Rlcraft is hard on it's own, you'll see as you progress and specifically the lost cities are a hell hole with scape and run parasites. Also, you can search the recipe of any item in the JEI.

Gotta go with Rlcraft on this one for one reason , having played both I can say that ARK woulda won if the meta for RL didn't change with the latest update. Both require mounts however in ARK it starts early and we breed dinos so getting strong dinos is typical whereas RLcrafts last update made getting just a standard mount more mid game.

Even if RLCraft was harder in difficulty... Ark is always harder to run

You were meant to use the knife on grass then get plant fiber. Then use it to craft plant fiber string then craft a flint hatchet with flint shards stick and plant fiber string in your two by two crafting grid

An issue with RLCraft is that Minecraft is hard-coded to render in mobs only when the player is within 64 blocks. (AKA the detection range of dragons)

as a avid rlcrafter player. Ive beaten hardcore a few times, if you know exactly what you are doing and get a lucky spawn you can slay

Pro tip:- Make a enchanted med kit and enchant it with Advanced Mending and unbreaking 3. You have basically infinite health source. advanced medning is a better version of the vanilla mending. Kinda hard to find but you can find it if you check the every librarians all 3 book trades. And also there are four seasons and every season is 21 rlcraft days long. So you have to be careful with your temparature level. Ozzyliner can save that problem but its pretty rare. If you craft a dragonbone canteen it can purifies the water everytime you drink from it ( You can find the required dragon head from dragon skeletons throughout the map easily). Never forget to checkout the underground lobby of the friendly outpost structur cuz it has a guranteed XP book. Please make this a sieries and thanks.

Nice video! Too bad you got stuck Here are some tips for beginners! 1. You can never have too much wool. Wool is your best friend. Wool can be turned into string just by putting it into a crafting (1 wool = 4 string) and vice versa. This way you can convert wool or string into exp and emerald by trading it to fisherman/fletcher villager. These are both important, Exp is very important for upgrading skills in both L menu and Y menu. The emerald is very useful too for trading since you become OP in RLCraft through librarian villagers. That's why when i start in a new world, the first thing I do usually do is upgrade my gathering to level 2, and mining to 4 so I can get iron to craft shears. Shears can be used to quickly harvest wool from structures such as tents or hot air balloon or even ruin castles. You can also use it to directly shear a sheep. This way you can get as much string as possible! Also you can use shear to get cobweb. 1 cobweb = 8 string. You can do this by putting a cobweb on your off-hand and hold a knife on your main hand. SHIFT + RIGHT CLICK then you can turn it into a string. Make sure you craft the correct type of knife since there is one knife for filleting fish. 2. Grapes and berries can fill both food and water so getting them would be worthwhile. You can find grapes in a village. The berries can be found in the wild. The best food (not buff food) in my opinion is watermelon. It fills half a food bar and full water bar. This means if you have plenty amount of watermelon, you don't need a water canteen. This will lessen the burden of constantly making water filters to filter your canteen for drinking purposes... Well atleast before you got a dragon canteen but most of the time, I just bring A LOT of melons. Though eating them well be quite slow, you can always craft gluttony pendant to increase the speed of food eating. You can get melon in villages, jungle biome, or even just in a wild sometimes. You can always turn melon into seeds and make a farm. just make sure put a greenhouse glass above the seed where you planted so it can grow all seasons, because there are seasons in RLCraft. 3. As i mentioned from previous two, you can get a lot of stuffs in a villages. You can set spawnpoint there (by right clicking the waystone since all villages has a waystone), you can get the melons in here, some wools, woods (for wood tools to skip flint stage), villagers to trade strings and enchanted books. That's why villages is OP in rlcraft. 4. You can use knife to cut down grass (just left click) so you can get grass fiber so you can craft string. With the string you can craft flint tools. I put it down here since you got stuck here in the progression in the video, 5. I recommend watching Shivaxi's(the modpack creator) video about rlcraft. He explained a lot of things about the mod and how to progress. It's a entertaining and informative video so I suggest checking it out! so yeah i didn't include the midgame and lategame stuffs in here just the stuffs you need to get started. If i included them this will become very long comment. Hope you continue to play. I will be always cheering you!

@@TdLmcwastaken It’s not just hardcore mode, there’s a config you have to download or enable somewhere. You might wanna play through a bit of normal rlcraft first tho because the base modpack isn’t too bad but the hardcore config is kinda stupid so it’d be good to learn how to cheese mobs that insta kill you
