On pve if you leave render range while the noglin is attached your void wyvern will literally turn wild on you so be careful there.

That was astonishing, can imagine the frustration you endured during the tests. The trouble on official would be to lure the Noglin to a proper taming place where you can build, as thanks to certain idiots, you can't pick up wild dinos no matter what, tricky tricky.

Fliers can pick them and they don’t mindcontrol tames whilst picked you can also grapple then if they aren’t agggro

Is it not possible to set wyvern to passive so that it doesn't attack the Noglin I don't have a void wyvern so don't know? Love the video, Ty Steve

You can set on passive and even when noglin controlled the void won’t attack anything. Sometimes the wyvern will try to bite when the noglin detaches.

Need a little bit of knowledge. I'm on PvE so this method doesn't work however bronto and wyvern does. However even on x3 currently ark evo event it only doing 6% on a 145 noglin. Doesn't matter if I use bronto or wyvern. The lowest wyvern I have is 180 unlvl. Any ideas as I thought they would do 20% each

I traped a noglin in 4 by 4 space and surround by 2 layer of 2 wall high stonewall and then i go out to tame some turtle when i came back to realise that it has escaped my containment area as i see it running outside my trap

That because you left the trap render distance Stay in the render distance next time and everything will go as it planned.

It isn't bugged, you can't tame high lvl Noglins with Brontos or Voids that were raised or imprinted, they must be WILD or Cloned WILD to get 100% taming with 5 creatures. I DO NOT know if you can use clones of raised or imprinted brontos/voids.

@@blacksoul_5259 yeah i was able to tame up to a lvl 130 noglin with 5 of my brontos. most likely because my brontos weren't lvl 150 wild tamed

@@NOOBLETScan you make the voids inventory weight full and so when a noglins attaches it won’t be able to move or does weight even play a factor. I was just curious me and my buddies want to create this factor but just a bit cheaper.

I read somewhere that you can only used tamed dinos to tame them. Is this true or can you use breed dinos?

Love the vids bud, but this is only good for unofficial and pvp would be nice to see something for pve official, I've tamed a cpl and attempted many but it super hard on official pve.

What s wrong with the brontos? You just need 5 bronto (6 in case) one turtle as punching ball, one skiff, flat surface, a few stone behemoth gates and it is working just fine.

@@sagnuts6014 Yes, bred ones do severely worse than wild tames. I'd recommend brontos instead unless you want to do that painful taming process 5 or 6 times.

Noglins are broken on Xbox got 4 150s all died for no reason mid tame while aggro but not attacking anything

End of 2022 and devs still haven’t fixed 100% bug

From an experienced tamer on official: It somehow seems that the base lvl on the wyvern seems to affect the taming as well. Somehow it takes more than 6 using high lvled ones ( 225+ base lvl), but takes the normal 5-6 using low lvled ones (140 base lvl) in my case. On default 150 dino lvl spawns, it seems that any noglins with a spawn lvl in the multiplier of 15 takes only 5 wyverns to tame with perfect effectiveness, but others take 6 with a disrupted effectiveness. For example a 150 can result in a perfect tame of 225, but a 145 can't. There is definitely a point system in the affinity, and the devs did a bad job in that, resulting in disruption on the effectiveness for a perfect tame. There is also a time limit between each dino control, otherwise effectiveness drops rapidly. It is estimated to be around 90 seconds. Lastly imo the setup here is unnecessarily complicated with all that skiffs and dino gates. The most effecient is just setting up a dino gate cage and leave wyverns encumbered outside. Grab one with skiff and lower into the cage right on noglin. Set used ones aside and repeat. If the noglin flees, move wyvern away and wait for it to start walking. If it flees 4 times in a row, tranq it and reset.

Ive been having trouble taming high level noglins from 135-150 i can never get them 100% effectiveness im using a lvl 254 clone void any advice?

yo but mine r cloners too 306 no imp wild tame ; 1 problem is he gets randomly scared and does not want to mind control anymore; the other thing is if its 100% progress but noit tamed he loses effectiveness on the last void; can u help me out?
