They also consume blood packs randomly. You can't force feed it to them but if you fly them around enough to get hungry they will heal at like 500hp per pack and as long as they have no meat in their inventory they will only use blood packs as a food source so they can heal super quick.

The Sanguine Elixir also gives +30% imprinting, super useful for Giga breeding

we can use Daeodon insted of moschops, it has higher health pool than moschops so you dont need to level it up that much to get a good health stat.

Love the Bat.. the echo location is sweet and the night vision .. I tent to hang on trees and scope things ! Plus night vision can also see pretty clear in the water ..see the sharks and everything else !😃

They dont glide, you pull up and the speed is gone they have a dive... but its not small at all.

For me even tek creatures only gives meat and blood

When I first heard of the Desmodus I wasn't happy because it seemed like a PvP thing, but this bat is by far a top 20 creature, if not top 10.

Theyre a pretty good replacement for an argy, they scale better. they can also pick up all farming dinos except doed as far as i can tell.

For those wandering I didn't have moschops and only used this cave I went in there were about 6 thank got my argy was in there I got lucky and whistled him away and tamed 2 but lost one I got a lvl 149 for my first. Me and my bird kill the rest. So u can do it without moschips and get high lol for any wandering

You don't need to put blood packs in the Moschop. An easy way to prevent him from flying out is to get out of the cave. I throw 2 Moschops down in case one gets stuck. Then go up top and watch the taming bar. I sit right over the cavern area. It worked for me anyway to get my breeding pair. My first one was a major fail when he flew out of the cave.

If you don't put blood packs in the moschops the bats will do more damage to them. It works the same way when they pick you up when you don't have any blood packs. They'll do more damage to you until they kill you. So if you have a moschops with less than 5k hp it's a good idea to use blood packs to save it from getting too damaged b/c they will kill them.

Maybe late reply 😊 I like to farm Spoiled meat! I use it for breeding Mantis. Well useful in baby fase! Put them in a Meawing then put the spoiled meat and they will eat! After baby fase then the mantis will eat regular raw meat 😉 Also when I got too much Narc. berries and I am out of Spoiled meat... Quick run on the Desmodus and I can make Narcs 😎

You forgot to mention that if you have a shoulder pet on while riding the bat, if you hit the r key to turn on night vision or life steal or biome teleport, you will throw your pet off your shoulder.

@@CHloE748 It's always been that way even when riding a dino with a shoulder pet and hitting the reload key, which is also R. It could be easily fixed if they would just let us remap that key somewhere else.

@@CHloE748 Because there is no option anywhere to remap the reload weapon, throw shoulder pet, access teleport menu key, it is all used by the R key and there is no way to remap that and probably never will be either. It's been that way since release sadly.

Just made my 2nd trip this time with moschops went alot better. I left with a level 93 lvl 105 and lvl 151. Got a yellow female looks amazing now I cam breed them and never go back. It's not hard at all just scary tho lol

I never understood why I would need invisibility, at night.

1 syringe use = -25hp I had to respawn a lot trying to get a little over three stacks and it took about 30min or more, make sure you have at least three beds in your house

A further caution to those reading this: it's not just the HP drain from the blood extraction that you need to worry about. If you do some basic math, you can tell how many uses you can afford. What I've nearly died from is starvation while using it. Low HP -> needing to recover HP -> high food use. I bled myself down to low health but just enough that I would just barely survive... and then I started starving and died. On the other hand, for those with Kraken's Better Dinos mod, a tamed leach can produce blood packs much faster than the syringe, though of course still nowhere near what the Desmodus itself can do.

The ichthyornis harvests prime meat from small creatures, which is useful for taming. Phlinger is a big fan of it for that purpose, although I personally don't rate it that high and don't think it's worth the existence of those shitty birds.

@@TheDrCN It's too much work (and too long work) for too little gain you can do it so much faster in other ways depending on a map you play on (often you dont even need early prime meat when you have ovis). Phlinger as an efficient ark player is a joke, I am not sure if it's because he purely does not know what he is doing or (more likely) because he focuses on things and methods that would be interesting to watch for the viewers and does not care about efficiency. But newbies who learn from him often need to unlearn a lot

Don't use them on tek creatures gather meat and spoiled from tek aswell. Unless there was a patch recently that fixed this then disregard the message.

Found out the elixir will not work on a Basilo baby. You just can't drink it. maybe a bug, maybe you can't use it for any water dino baby.

Yes u can, the issue your facing is that you can't drink and eat in the water when swiming. To over come that build a ramp down and get them to swim up to it while your standing on the ramp. I stand on shore and throw my basilo baby's out and and reach them fine. Good luck!

Last slot is only if you have to manually feed something when it prompts you to. So either way works just fine since you aren't manually feeding them.

That cave's the Worst place to tame, too small too many in there. Hard to know which one's high level. You gonna end up kill them all or dead.

Something to add, taming effect is not important what so ever if you are breeding them. Babies always have 100% effect no matter what the parents had. You can mate two 150s who had zero taming effect and the baby will still be lvl 223 or there abouts.

Eh I mean this dino is just voted in by 12 year olds who want instant gratification. This creature trivializes the whole game. At this point just use console commands to give yourself god mode, kill all the bosses that way, and then just move on to the next game(fortnite or w/e it is that zoomers are into).

Dude you need to have a script or something to read from you’re all over the place, it’s a good video don’t get me wrong but you need to be clearer and properly organize into segments what the video is about, A to B to C.
