You don't have to remove saddle just place in their inventory and click torch and it'll highlight the saddle so you can equip it

Another thing for tip #2 (restocking consumables): when adding something to a stack, it will keep the spoil timer of the item/stack You added it to. For example, you have a raw meat in inventory and one in a fridge. Spoil time on you is half gone, soil time on fridge is almost completely gone. If you add it to the fridge meat, it will have the short spoil time. However, if you pull the meat from the fridge out to your inventory, it will have the long time to spoil. Then just put it back in the fridge.

Also the inverse: to get more spoiled meat faster when trying to make narcotics move fresher stacks into the ones that are almost spoiled (then split all so they all spoil at once.) Not so useful later on, as one tends to have more spoiled meat than one needs by then anyway, but can be useful early game.

@@glennolson6505 nah i used all of my spoiled meat 24/7 it was actually a challange to keep narcos in the base. i bred dinos at all times. so a lot of meat always got eaten

For tip 23 i paint my safes and firdges Red for weapons or meat Green for vegetables or Armour This way i can just spot it from a distance without needing to get close enough to read

Here's a tip I discovered recently, u can lure alpha mosa & tuso to surface/ shore by using crossbow. shoot them from above their depth level. It causes them to swim away, but they head upward. Keep following & shooting til they stuck on shore. Then use thyla to cause bleed and can pull out magnifying glass/weapons. dont hop off ur thyla they'll turn around to bite u(happened to me twice) then they're yours. Hope this can be helpful

0:56 another tip along these lines, if you take 1 off the longest timer stack; you can mix it into a stack that is about to spoil. This refreshes the timer. It is tedious, but really useful super early game if you have things like your first veggie cakes, or antidotes.

Addition to tip #28: Use numpad on the keyboard to select tamegroups, its way faster than using the UI. Also, it shows you which tames belong to the activated tamegroup. Use same key on numpad to deselect group.

for no.2 the spoil timer: take the stack with the longest spoil timer into you inventory, split it to stacks of only one and transfer the rest to your inventory. this will give every stackable item with a spoil timer the desired timer. if you go out taming always leave a fresh biotoxic dart in the fridge, so you can put the nearly spoiled ones back into it to reset the spoil timer. you can also reset the spoil timer by uploading the item and downloading it again.

Darts loaded into guns do not spoil. You can always keep a junk gun with the dart equipped to store an 'immortal' dart. Or you can take a spoiling dart and load it as ammo into an empty gun. Remove the ammo from that gun to create a 1 item stack with a full spoil timer. You can then add items to the stack to use the other re-stacking tricks. This works for all the dart types. This also works for honey and leech blood when stored on fishing rods at the ammo type of that rod. For honey that stacks to one, it is easier to either store on a primitive rod or cycle all your honey through a rod by loading and unloading. This is useful until you have enough bee hives to passively generate honey in large quantity or if you are out on the road taming bears, distracting leeds on a raft or baiting traps.

@@waveclaw The same concept can be used with a piece of honey on a fishing rod. Honey doesn't stack so you can't do that but you can either rotate your honey on and off the rod or carry a bunch of rods.

Here is a tip for tip 39. You can do missions on genisis for easy mindwipe tonics. Genesis is easy to transfer out of as well. You can do the frog protection mission in the bog and get them. Or bog beat down. Or even fishing.

Tip 15.5 cyopods in the cryofridge go up from 5 percent to 8 percent xp buff.

Tip #28: if you hold down the left pause button (Xbox) you can quickly swap between the 10 order groups you have from the radial. It’s much faster than opening the menu and doing it that way. Great video btw!

Even I didn't know about the last tip too btw, I guess you'd never really have to use that for PVE though! TOP tips!

Tip pvp always carry a hatchet or sword on your hot bar so you can cut yourself out of a grapple or net and that’s the same for tames that can get netted too

I keep my canteen and my food in my regular inventory anyway. I reserve my toolbar for things I may need quickly in a high stress situation. Weapons, grapples, bolas, etc. However I do keep my tools as well as a spy glass on at all times. I don't ever put a sickle on my toolbar btw. Last slot is always equipped with some kind of taming food, or something useless for pego and icthys to take. Usually, from left to right. Pick, Hatchet, melee weapon, ranged weapon, and bolas. These are always the same. My spyglass is always 9. Everything else is negotiable.

The last one is brutal I love it

Great vid my friend, keep doing this we will apreciat it. But i will give some opinions if u don’t mind. -first tame: trike i would change it for the equus. Much faster to tame, it can gather berries, u can use it like a mortal&pestle, and u can ride it at lvl 10, and the best u can use it to ko dinos for me the best dino to put other to sleep. The tip with magnifing glass for me is useless just bc u need to get close to the dino to see its torpor and u really don’t need it, just my opinion. A side note i dare u to use it on the giga 😂😂😂😂😂😂? Wyvern tip: u can also include the fire wyvern to kill the alpha wyvern to collect milk, the fire wyvern is imune to fire, much more easy to dealt with the alpha. Otter tip: u can also use dimetrodon to encubate the eggs, lvl up the melee to increase the insulation. Last tip: the ocean in ur best friend if u want to hide loot or whatever just use vault or woodenbox or whatever to store, i have secure a loot and it was there for a long time, really long time not a single one found about it!

Thanks for the kind comment and feedback! I do agree with you on those. Equus is my second favourite but I went with Trike as it's much more common to find! Also I have used a magnifying glass on a Giga before🤣Only when it's fleeing ofcourse haha! I'd also use a Fire Wyvern against an Alpha but I find the lightnings easiest to deal massive damage to big groups so tend to always use them for the most part!😄

great video but tip 16 cryo pod and cryo fridge , you can recharge cryopods while sleeping in a tek sleeping pod, very convenient untill you reach level 88 (need to beat rockwell gama to unlock sleeping pod)

Personally I feel that the o x Square and triangle are best for items like parachutes brews and Bolas and you don't have to stop running to access them but everyone is different I'd recommend feeling it out yourself

That's true, I prefer them with D pad because you don't have to hold LB which you do on xbox but like you said it's really just preference!

15:40 if your on mnk your numpad keys correspond to the taming groupe so you dont have to go in the menu

Playing on PC and using the taming groups shortcut numbpad did not know I could rename them that would make it easier, also I recently learned if you get stunned off your shadowmane (tested with micro raptors and Barry's) you can board the passanger seat if it is in range saving you from some damage

i play the mobile version and many things is different but still very informative at some points

You can also change the group with wheel faster than going into menu

my first ever tame was a tech parasuar and i thought he was just a re skin,never knew he was so valuable!

If you hold the select button on controller it will bring up a wheel with all the tame grps

I Allways keep my parachutes on the Y slot because that’s the dismount button and it would be quicker to deploy if I accidentally dismount my flyer

Tek sleeping pod also recharges cryopods if you dont believe check up freshly fully charged pod keep it for 1 min in inventory and than jump to sleeping pod and see it grow to 30d again in few secs or mins

Ark scope with conan graphics/models. Amazing wr can dream right!! Good tips

Could I add restock is a very good action but take out the stack stack with the longest timer first break it down pull out another separate to cover base number of stacks then pull out rest this will reset all the stacks to the same timer and the longest only needed on more expensive item..

Me and my friends just started playing Ark, this is pretty helpful. We are loving the game and can't believe we didn't find it sooner. 1 thing we are playing on the island map and we all caught swamp fever and don't know where to find rare flowers. IDK if anyone has any easy tip or location where to find.

Awesome! Glad the video was helpful! I do love seeing new people getting into the game! You can find small amounts of Rare Flowers in Beaver dams, to save you or your creatures dying to angry beavers you can place a sleeping bag down nearby, get naked, grab the stuff out of the dam, when you die you can respawn back without aggro from the beavers and recover your body (Ideally you need to take everything out of the beaver dams so it disappears for more to respawn) or can gather loads of Rare Flowers from the bushes in the swamp and from the same bush found on the edges of some rivers with a berry gatherer! They are normally very dangerous areas though!

A spot I used to always go to was near the small river at the base of the Volcano, still a dangerous area but usually better than the swamp haha. Around 48 Latitude and 28 Longitude on the map.

for tip 2, you can ‘separate one’ in your inventory on your least spoiled item, and transfer those things over, they will all now be this spoiled

I'd love to just buy the engrams I want/need. Sadly if I want a stone wall and totally bypass thatch/wood or wood stairs leading to the stone doorway I first have to buy an absurd amount of engrams to get them. Why do I have to learn the wooden ceiling if I want wooden stairs? I won't even complain about having to buy the sleeping bag before you can unlock the bed, although they're 2 different sets of skills to produce irl I'll give it that the forced engram at least makes progressional sense. I really enjoy your videos, I'm usually a bit of a lurker but I just logged off of my first foray into an official server after playing single player for 4 months (my entire Ark history) and I'm a little fired up LOL

Pro tip 41. Get you a pc screen that has a built in cross hair that you can turn on or off. Works great for Ark. Works even better on Sea of Thieves 🍻

Alright, I'll add my tip too then: Shadowmane male roar wakes up cryo sick creatures very quickly. (Mind you, the sickness stays, they just are on their feet quickly)

So does whipping creatures. An ascendant whip can quickly wake up a cryo-sick creature by reducing it's torpor with every whack.
