This episode somehow is one of my favorite episodes from Mahabharat B.R. Chopra. As I read from some sources, Arjuna was introduced to Subhadra by Lord Krishna himself. He offered him and his sister to take each other as husband and wife. Meanwhile in here, I must admit that B.R. Chopra can provide a very beautiful and enjoyable storyline for their meeting. This story is very interesting and also provides moral values ​​to society regarding the right of a woman to choose her life partner ✨🙏

सकुनी मामा ने बहुत ही अच्छा बात बोला राजा पहले एक से ज्यादा शादिया अपनी कामुकता शांत करने के लिए नही करते थे बल्कि वे इसे मित्री वयुहू स्थापित करने के लिए करते थे। सकुनि को बहुत ही नीतियाँ का ज्ञान था। और आज एक से ज्यादा शादी के बारे में सोचने मात्र से ही महाभारत से भी बरा युद्ध हो सकता है। 🤣🤣

दुर्योधन निःसन्देह महान गदाधारी था पर मामा की बातों में आकर अनुचित कार्य कर लेता था पर उसका मन कभी कपट को नही मानता था पर उसकी बुद्धि पर नियंत्रण उसके मामा ने कर रखा था इसलिये तो कहते है कि सदैव स्वयं के विवेक से कार्य करना चाहिये और महाभारत जैसे एक ग्रन्थ से कितनी मनुष्य जीवन की जानकारी मिलती है तभी महाभारत संसार का सर्वश्रेष्ठ ग्रन्थ है

surely the best episode yet! as many others have said, Krishna's role as trickster, matchmaker and political/cosmic seer is a joy to watch. i laughed out loud several times this episode. the dancing scene in the rain is a classic example of how Bharat culture has devoted themselves to art and love. i really love the feminist message in this episode, it could easily be repeated today to India, and the world: women are not man's possessions. they are human beings who should be respected. let them take the reins and it should be shamed to do violence, rape or force them against their will

Subhadra was not yogmaya/uma. • Yogamaya was born to Yashoda-Nandagopa but Subhadra is daughter of Rohini-Vasudeva. This is a established fact across all the scriptures. Then how can Subhadra be same as Yogamaya? • Rather, Subhadra was reincarnation of Rākşasī Trijațā, who had cared for Sītā in Lankā. Details:  Devi Yogmaya the one who protects and helps Vishnu is born to Nand and Yashoda. The Bhagvatam and Harivansh Puranas give her names. Subhadra isnt one of them. Devi Yogmaya is named as Ekamsha. She is swopped by Vasudev with the baby Krishna. She takes the form of Durga when kans tries to kill her (Bhagvatam).  Devi Yogmaya then goes to the Vindhya mountain range and kills Shumbh and Nishumbhs re-incarnations. (All these kathas are depicted in Markandeya puran, Harivansh puran, Brahma Vaivart Puran and continue where Bhagvatam leaves off)  Devi Yogmaya/ Durga stays there in the form of the self manifested murti of Vindhyavasini Devi. Lord Krishna meets Devi Vindhyavasini when he comes back from Indralok after taking the parijat tree. Praying to her at this temple for victory, Devi blesses him with victory in the Mahabharat war. (Harivansh Puran and Bhram Vaivart Puran gives details and prayers uttered in this regard.) This is the reason Krishna instructs Arjun to pray to Durga before the Mahabharat for victory in the famous “Arjun Krit Durga Stotram” wherein the verses composed and uttered by Arjun state that Devi Durga was born as a cowherd girl in the home of Nand and Yashoda.  Subhadra Devi is born ten years after Krishna and Balram to Vasudev and his wife, Suprabha. Krishna and Balram are already in Gurukul at this time. Subhadra is therefore not the same sister that is born to Nand and Yashoda .  Subhadra is a human, not a Goddess and is a re-incarnation of Trijata, the daughter of Vibhishan, who served Sita in Lanka and was rewarded to be a sister to Ram's next incarnation as Krishna. She marries Arjun.  Devi Yogmaya, who was born of Nand and Yashoda, named Ekamsha is a form of Durga, who will only ever marry Shiva. Harivansh Puran mentions that Ekamsha marries Durvas Rishi (a form of Shiva born through Atri and Anasuya). Krishna does her kanyadan.  Things like “Yogmaya isnt Durga”, etc. is false evidence provided by ISKCON because they don't want to admit that all of the purans mention that Yogmaya and Mahamaya aren't seperate entities, but the same Goddess. This is confirmed as Devi has 16 forms of which two is Yogmaya and Mahamaya depending on her activities. Please note that this is what is revealed in the scriptures including Bhagvatam.  It is only subsequent literature from ISKCON that goes against all revealed scripture to make the personalities of Ekamsha and Subhadra one.  In Mahabharat we see that Subhadra comes to Draupadi dressed as a cowherd girl still. How can this be the Yogmaya then? Subhadra and Ekamsha aren't the same personalities: If you are a devout ISKCON follower, keep this in mind even if you don't accept it.. @@Heroheralal0001 well I'd suggest you get your facts right before saying that. Mata Kunti was an adopted child of the family and then later she was married to the kuru family. Hence did it actually made her Kanhaiya's aunt? Moreover these two people were from entirely different clans and also didn't have the same blood!

apne jeevan k vishay mein agya palan nahi, nirnaye liya jata hai - i loved this dialogue... so relevant in every age.. this is Indian mythology.. it gives full freedom to women... even krishna asked arjun to make subhadra the chariot driver🙄.. proud of indian mythology...

It's really sweet that everyone else calls him Arjun but Krishna says PARTH PARTH PARTH every second sentence... I know it's one of Arjun's ten names but I don't think anyone else uses PARTH as much as Krishna does. Like a cute nickname just for him to call with affection

Actually Krishna's Aunt Pritha was given up for adoption at young age(Kunti), hence in that relation he calls Arjun Parth. In original Mahabharat, all three older Pandavas are called Parth
