It was the 9th round and Hans had one point less than Arjun in board 1, it’s easy to misjudge a player when you take in consideration his worst game instead of the whole tournament

Just curious - where in the video can you determine its a Chronoswiss? Doesn't look like any reference I'm familiar with. Tbh from zooming in and looking at how tall the chapter ring is, I bet that's a pretty cheap watch. Though, it's hard to say what it is

What sacrifice! It was a tactic! The thing is that even I was able to see this brewing. 3-4 moves ago there was Nxe4 and Bxb2 leaving c2 weak, so in every move I was counting again to see if the sacrifice is worth it. This is nothing too complicated and a club player can easily see it. The thing is how did Niemann play so badly that he cannot see simple combinations. I've seen him repeatedly missing easy combinations... very strange.

What's up with all these weird comments? Objectively speaking Hans is a fantastic chess player, even if he got owned in this game. He's not a proven OTB cheater so people may as well stop it with the slander. I say that as a Magnus supporter.
