Here it is… always very scary for me… the first single and videoclip of my new band Supersonic Revolution called ‘The Glamattack’! Please let me know what you think of it in the comments below. Can’t wait to read it since this is a new band that I’m very proud of, so… very curious!
This song The Glamattack is about the rise of glamrock in the early seventies with acts like T Rex, Sweet, Alice Cooper and David Bowie. Back then I wanted to BE these artists! I even remember stealing my mother’s wig and singing into a hairbrush in front of the mirror. I really loved the theatrics and the outrageous image of these glitter bands; they were about more than just music.
This video was made by Dave Letelier, and for me he really captured the colorful vibe of the early seventies. Yeah sure… it’s totally over-the-top and excruciatingly colorful, but that’s what this band is all about… MORE = MORE 😊

Is a specific style and identity that identifies who he is, will never fade away, it wouldn't be Arjen if those details weren't there.

From my point of view, the song could easily be included on any STAR ONE album, and with a little effort even on an AYREON, although both projects are equal in terms of the value of the artists involved or the quality of the music recorded. Mr. Joost van den Broek's keyboards are probably the most recognizable, you could hardly be wrong about them!

Obviously, the musicians are top notch, but on this track, I really loved Jaycee's vocals. Powerful as always, but also melodic. Had no idea about this project, but when I saw *Arjen's* name attached to it, I of course had to click on it. Endless frenetic energy from the song. And visually, the video was outstanding. So now you're telling me I have to WAIT for the rest of the album? Why must I be tortured this way. Seriously though, can't wait for it.

All this new music is just musical gold. I grew up listening to glam rock from my father's CDs. From all those bands and yours, I realized I have a long way to go to get better at my guitar playing. Thank you for these sweet gems of music, Arjen. Hope to hear more.
