Food contents and nutrients one of the major steps towards wellness and body maintenance. The root, fruits, grains, diary products, nuts and honey, India having more compared with any so called developed countries. My experience with North American food habits, they neglected. But study and research they do well. The fiber side of roots, extremely well for human beings. Like, starch in rhe yam (tapioca), Surang ( Chena) and so on. More over the sunshine in the tropics of India very essential.

Thanks a lot for your kind words. Yes, for a 47 year old, I would want your A1C to be around 7%. And creatinine alone wouldn't be enough to evaluate your renal status.

Why Brown rice is not available in India?which has a low Glycemic index & releasing carbs little by little to blood stream.It is available in U S only I guess, plenty brands,like riceland, iberia, Mahthma etc etc,

Yes... Good quality brown rice is superior to white, polished rice.
Rakthathilulla.shugarinte.alavu.kurakkan.gothampu.kazhikkunnathanu.nallath.
Rice has less carbs but we have to eat more quantity of rice than wheat to feel fullness.

Raw vegetable is not good for body. vegetable need to be boiled to some degree.

Please decide for yourself based on the facts and comparison presented.
There is no issuie about calories let talk about carbohydrate only .. Normal rice with no covering and have more carbohydrates..People with correct knowledge they will not say eat wheat instead of rice , they said if rice is with fiber we can use but unfortunately in majority of rice contines no fiber.. Fat and energy is essential for our body but we don't need much carbohydrates.. If you buy the real wheat and make it blend and use it will contines more fiber.. Fiber is the most important thing..
we keralites used to eat only full bran rice , rice mill lobby propagated white rice is modern and stylish....and misguided us
