@@Taymaz_yt if we change 2a to a + a, it will be like this: Sn=n/2{a + [a+(n-1)d]} The a+(n-1)d is equal to An. So we can also modified it to Sn=n/2(a+An). It's the same formula that this video have been taught

Actually, I prefer the one used in the vedio. Because it reminds me that I am taking an average of the terms multiple times(n times). That way, it's easier to remember it.
I am a nontraditional student. I started college at 38 - that's 20 years after graduating high school! I basically forgot all math lol. We are currently doing this and I was really struggling to get it, but your explanation really helped. It's honestly crazy that the education that I'm paying so much for (well, my employer is mostly paying for haha) isn't helping, but a free KZread video does. Thank you so much!

MR. Organic Chemistry Tutor, thank you for another awesome and basic introduction to Arithmetic Series and Sequences. These topics are common in mathematics and all the science fields. In Calculus II, there are multiple test that are used to determine convergence or divergence.
Your explanation as always is clearer and better!

I just wanted to leave a comment somewhere and the comments were turned off on the video I just watched which was the first time I discovered your youtube videos. The video was how to convert decimals into fractions. I am 33 yrs old trying to really learn math for the first time (have a bachelor of arts). This is the FIRST TIME I ever heard of this trick: divide 284/2 - what is half of 2? 1. What is half of 8? 4. What is half of 4? 2. Answer = 284/2 =142! That IS SO EASY! Thank you so so much for such a quick and easy trick. Why hasn't ANYONE ever taught me this?! I ended up subscribing to your channel! Really appreciate this! This made my day! Can't wait to tell my boyfriend the new math trick I learned! :)
Wow thank you for this. You explain better than my teacher
