My take: Smothering Abomination has three problems. One, its upkeep sac trigger cannot target treasures, since they will not be creatures at that time. Two, this deck is built to focus almost entirely around sacrificing treasures as creatures. Three, the non-token creatures on this list want to stick around to see many treasures sacrificed in order to generate the most value. Because most of the creatures on this list are value engines over the course of the game, I do not want to sac them until they have generated a good amount of value. The only time I personally would want to play Smothering Abomination is when there are multiple creatures with currently underperforming effects, or during a later turn after I've generated multiple treasures to sac and draw off of all at once. It seems to me that playing Smothering Abomination on curve without many treasures only limits your value engines you have on your board for minimal card draw, and playing it on a later turn would be the ideal scenario. Therefore, I wanted to replace it with Liliana, Dreadhorde General, so that I can accelerate my draw and board state at the same time with minimal cost. The extra two mana in her cost should not be too much trouble with the Treasure package, however I could see an argument being made that any larger creature with evasion or trample could easily get around an aristocrats list like this. If anyone reading this cares to comment with ideas about this or other aspects of the deck, I would love some insight.

Would you be interested in making a deck tech for the new Roxanne, Starfall Savant? She seems like a really busted treasure commander with lots of interesting interactions! Might be up your alley too since The Reaver Cleaver finds quite a comfortable home with her yet again.

I’m definitely adding this to my list for the next time I want to build a high power deck.

Aggravated assault and pitiless plunderer makes infinite attack steps if you have at least 5 treasures.

Aggravated Assault with Pitiless Plunderer out will go infinite. Teysa Karlov with Pitiless Plunderer out will also double up your tokens he creates. Academy Manufacturer is an obvious must have. Hellkite Tyrant is a solid alternate Wincon for this deck as well.

Descent into Avernus is also a great treasure generator and hurts you opponents also another one is Cyberman Patrol to always get that 3 damage in with Afflict. these 2 cards speeds up the game quick

Other cards if anyone is interested. Leyline tyrant lets you turn those extra sac tokens each combat into mana that doesn’t leave and can become a nuke for one player when needed. Skullclamp digs deep in this deck. Martyr’s bond is a white grave pact that can also hit artifacts your opponents control. Agent of the iron throne works with sacrificing artifacts. As another Mirkwood bats. Legion loyalty will give everything myriad making more tokens. Teysa Karlov and drivnod for doubling death triggers. Teysa also gives lifeline. Black market will give even more mana for killing your creatures.

Little caveat, Pitiless Plunderer is only relevant once your treasures are creatures with Vihaan’s combat trigger. So saccing treasures in precombat won’t generate treasures via Pitiless Plunderer for example. Not saying thisbis what you’re suggesting, it’s just worth clarifying lol.

Not an easy or reliable combo, but an infinite combo: 5 treasure tokens, your commander, Pitiless Plunderer, and Aggravated assault. Enter combat and treasure tokens become creatures, post combat sac the 5 tokens to pay for Aggravated Assault. Pitiless gets you 5 more, rinse repeat. Now its not a win without a blood artist effect as you dont want to attack with the treasure tokens in the chance they can die. Still figure it is a fun one to mention as all these cards can go in the deck regardless if you aim to try and assemble the combo or not as they are good on their own

Its game over with Vihaan, pitiless plunderer and mirkwood bat's. Since mana burn isn't a thing just keep a sac and make treasure loop and that's the win

It's not quite that simple. It's not an infinite. The treasures aren't creatures by themselves. Once per each of your turns (specifically at the beginning of combat) you may make all treasures you currently have into creatures as well. Any treasures you make after that can't become creatures until your next turn. So with Pitiless Plunderer when you sac your treasure creatures you get an equal number of treasures. And Mirkwood Bat's procs 2x times for the tokens saccing and then token generation. But then that's it for the turn. The combo ends there until next turn when Vihaan's trigger happens next.

Treasures are not always creatures. They only turn into creatures at the beginning of combat.

me trying to tell myself for the 100th time I'm brewing too many decks... Videos drop... ok one more then...

Korvold is busted because he sacs, draws you cards, and makes himself bigger.... by HIMSELF. It almost doesn't matter what the 99 of a Korvold deck is. Vihaan looks fun but does effectively squat by himself and REQUIRES other cards to actually function. For example his ability to turn treasures into creatures... needs a way to MAKE the treasures in the first place. Definitely looks fun, but Vihaan is no Korvold.
