@@SxSReacts I was a little scared about A-1 animating this, because they've been a studio that's been clowned on in the past, but they were cooking with Solo Leveling. Just like they were with Seven Deadly Sins when it first came out. Their animation this season was SSS+ Tier lmao. You can tell that the people who worked on this love the series.

The fact that Jinwoo was able to recruit Daddy Igris, who done whooped his ass 4 hours ago is finally with us means things are gonna get so much more hype! Edit: I’m sure Igris’ Knight rank was a nerf, putting him around B rank. Elite Knight (A), General (S), Commander (National), Grand Marshal (Above National?)

Igris currently is now around a B rank and jin woo is around Higher A rank. Can't wait to see a specific seen in season 2 it will be lit af I literally stood up and had to walk around when I saw that manga panel it took minutes to process what I saw and when I was done thinking it blew my mind.

Jin Woo did say, "Take care of me", in the anime but it was in japanese and they subbed it as, "You're with me now."

For how much jeju island has been shown it’s insane that it’ll probably won’t happen until season 3 😅

Someone might have already pointed it out but 'yoroshiku tanomu' can be translated as 'take good care of me'. They just made a different choice with the subtitles. So they DID say the line.

Supposedly we were supposed to have S2 earlier but thank god they pushed it back, therefore the staff can actually fully cook

Finally the prologue is over, we can start eating good now on the story too. Btw the season 2 teaser trailer is out but it's just a quick re-cap, nothing new other than the thumbnail showing off Sung Drip-Woo new look.

I remember got recommended to read Solo Leveling back when it still weekly update. I knew the genre is, but i didn't dare to read it because all i know the action-fantasy are really boring to me. I can't stand reading fantasy genre that looks heavy, let alone action. But even then, i stiil knew all the news about Solo Leveling, including the illustrator that passed away. Then, early month this year, i finally had a time to read Solo Leveling. One of the reason is because i already read many action manhwa and liked it so, i was ready to read Solo Leveling. But after i read it... Oh man... I got hooked up immediately and became a big fan of Solo Leveling!😂 Solo Leveling is just the perfect action-fantasy story that i didn't know i need and want all this time. The mistery, the lore, the romance, the MC personality, the comedy. Everything is just *chef kiss*. Everyone can have their opinion and say that Solo Leveling story is mid. But for me, it's just perfect. The story has a lore. Not just a guy who leveling up. And one thing that makes me surprised is that right after i finished the manhwa, the anime came. How fortunate of me😂

OMG I GOT A SHOUT OUT KSJAKSJAKS I LOVE YOU GUYS 🤩 From what I remembered, the manhwa mentioned that the shadows will be weaker from their original power. I forgot what rank igris is at in his original form. The initial plan is that it will have 6 seasons/cours so for sure they will expand more esp. with the side characters and side stories at the end if it'll push through. S2/Cour 2 is planning to release at the end of this year or early next year because I also read that the production might push back, but for sure we're all willing to wait (even though i want it now 😭) coz the fight scenes after this will be so crazy. Hope you guys have wonderful days ahead! 🫶

After watching this episode i'm going straight to the manhwa and finish it in a day.. 😅 This season is ending at chapter 45, so i'm reading 155 chapter straight, it was fun.. 😂

The fun fact is that all of that is only the start.

It's only the shadow knight, he'll get a lot of his main shadows on the next season...

It was a great season the only thing that disappointed me was that he didn't tie Knight Killer to his hand but wrapped it for no reason.Also I'm glad they introduced the flying ants like this instead of a phone conversation in like 10 chapters about it washing up on a random Japanese island although i hope they still include Japan in the story and remove the villain scheme since it was pointless because they didn't get to act on it.I just can't wait for the future but if S2 is 12 ep they won't get to Jeju unless they cover 5 chapters each ep which is not impossible

As for the shadows, I believe Igris was somewhere around A rank when he fought jinwoo, and now he’s a B rank I think? In the manhwa his rank was knight commander and he downgraded to knight, so I’m not sure what that translates to in the letter system

This episode was insanely good

As a manhwa reader, I was excited that they decided to end the season that exact moment, too. It's where I was hoping they'd end it so when Kaynenn mentioned that he wanted it to end at a certain moment in the manhwa, I knew what moment he was referring to. So happy with how it turned out for the season finale. Also, I believe that line at the end of the episode in the manhwa was "I look forward to fighting alongside you" 🥶🥶 The teaser trailer for season 2 is really short so I think a whole video reaction wouldn't be necessary so watching it on your own is fine too. I'll just say that there's a panel in the manhwa that I think they A-1 has given justice in that trailer 🔥

I was expecting them to change the Jeju arc (to be less.... political) and it looks like i should be correct. But they kept more to the original story than i would have imagined! 10/10 for me!

When you say less political, you mean the feud between Japan and Korea right?? If so, I agree on hoping for it being less political. I felt it was a bit heavy handed myself that’s why. As long as they keep this up, we’ll have a straight 10/10 series till the end 🙌😁

@SxSReacts right. The original webnovel protrays Japan as a villian of sorts. The manhwa.... significantly reduced it and made it seem (#1J hunter) look "selfish" instead. But even then, i felt like it made a Japanese character too negative for A1 to run with it.

I think the knights and mages are Regular, or Common Rank, and Igris is a Knight, its 10 levels per rank(Common - Elite - Knight) , I think Igris was 17-26 levels above the first summons, and you have to be knight grade to be given a name.

The translation on the last line Jin woo said was such a missfire , they had him say exactly what he said in the manhwa (yoroshiku tanomu- plz take good care of me / i m in your care) and they butchered it in translation as "you re with me now", RIP Japanese :D

Sooo technically bck when we would read solo leveling weekly around this chapter in the manhwa it was "Take good care of me" but ever since them the website has updated the translation so it different now but the anime still translated it to smth else. Still fire tho🔥🔥🔥
