Good interview by Dr Reuben Abati with Vice President Kashim Shettima. Talk is cheap, let the government deal decisively with the growing insecurity and corruption in Nigeria, cut the costs of governance and then maybe the country will have a chance at tangible development.

But make no mistake, this was a means to address Station flight due to dwindling numbers of the wasteful national (NÒ) Television Authority (NTA) and the spinners that starts with TV(yak)! @@AdewaleOgunkoya 1. I’m sure you know that winter coats are not worn in a room, ‘cos it’s usually sufficiently warm enough. 2. Babariga is not our only attire. There are more than five hundred Nigerian traditional attires to choose from, the “go-to” being “Senator wear.” You can wear a winter jacket or coat on many of our attires. This decades- long tradition of our presidents wearing our native attires on foreign trip is a good statement for our country and culture. Successive presidents have always done so for a reason.

Good at talking.....after you will collect 15billion when you are still borrowing to build house as if you have been sleeping on top of trees. You believe Nigeria has potentials in digital technology and science but you abandoned Nigerian made vehicles to pump billions into the economy of another country to purchase cars, you think another country will first patronize you first? The seat of your seat FCT is now a nightmare. Your principal that you said is concerned about security was busy doing party while hundreds of innocent souls were slain and their families weeping including children. Who should be the chief mourner? We don't lack knowledge, energy and number in Nigeria but morality that translates into corruption, greed and power intoxication.

Grammars! Who says our existence are not intertwined? Who says a tree can make a forest? Nobody is saying that. Nobody can do it alone. Nobody! What people are saying in respect of Nigeria is - let’s have a constitution that’s reflective of the voices of the different ethnic nationalities that made up of Nigeria. Can a farm belong to the father and child without without boundaries? So there is need to come together and discuss the terms of crossing these boundaries. Mr Vice president, the situation in Nigeria is beyond this grammatical grandiloquence you are exchanging with Reuben Abati. Let’s discuss. Like I said, no region in Nigeria can do it alone but the terms of our bring together must be discussed. So long everybody continue to gaslight, feign ignorance of the realities impeding our progress the more we will remain stagnated. We need to create an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity for our people and coming together to discuss it is the only way out. Let’s stop the pretence, the gaslighting and the grammars.

Talk is cheap in Nigeria.

Smart man, but no integrity. The amount of professors we had rigging their way throughout last elections proves to me that we need more than smarts to carry Nigeria forward. So if you ask me, the people of Nigeria are too hungry and insecure to drive any meaningful progress. Empower the people, stop the killings, stop your corruption in office, employ full digital systems throughout the government, enforce punitive measures on corruption no matter how high. Retrain our law enforcement, secure our territory, allow free and fair elections. After doing this then more people will listen. Otherwise, this is just worthless talk. You’re a Nigerian politician, and citizens are finally awake to the lies you’ve all been telling so eloquently since before all our grandfathers were born.

And about looking people in the face, not everyone can speak by looking into your eyes. What I find ‘strange’ is that the VP granted the interview(with Arise).
