I feel like it can be so many things. They want it, but they don’t feel like they deserve it so they sabotage it. They only want a piece of the person, but they aren’t courageous enough to admit it. They don’t know what they want, so they are all in their heads; in one day, out the next. Who knows. One thing I’m learning is that it doesn’t matter. I just have to believe what I see and decide what I’m gonna do about it for myself.

Everytime you excuse repetitive "mistakes" that person you excuse loses a little bit of respect for you. I think you've got to be careful. A mistake happening over and over again becomes a learned behavior. Not saying you shouldn't forgive, but there needs to be clear communication so that behavior stops. Sometimes you just have to give up on them if you've made it clear but they just keep doing it because they expect you'll excuse them and keep them around.
