I believe, just my experience and observation, that this north node south node combination is the most difficult. But after Saturn returns, and this individual finds themselves, and discovers how wonderful they are, WOW! What a fantastic version is exposed, hallelujah! Aries north Node…. What a 💎 you are!

The older I get the more I turned into my North Node Aries which I never understood but now it all makes sense. I was always indecisive of what I should do on any aspects of my life but then wound up confused so I learned to listen to my own instincts as far as what I want in life without asking anyone for validations. It was uncomfortable at first but getting used to it now which also makes me feel more satisfied in my life at the moment. I will continue to learn being an Aries because sometimes I feel that is dangerous having a sun sign of Scorpio ♏️

I found some of my North Node in Aires as a child due to hardship but not enough to keep my power if pushed too long. Now I find there is a recipe to follow. Yahoo Carmen is right about us needing a good amount of our Aires traits before marriage. Not knowing anything about North Nodes at the time I drew the very thing to my life I hated. Narcissism that drew off the worst parts of the South Node Libra in me. I was married several years, he cut me with words and emotional abuse until I was tired of bleeding. One day the Aries showed up and never left, divorce followed. I tried to make it stop at first feeling bad about it. Silly woman, I soon I realized it was the very thing missing in me I was looking for. The power to take my power back and keep it . I stood up for myself but at some point I would wear out and buckle. I had to learn to never buckle and I can't tell you how tired that made me esp at first but its oh so worth it. Now its respect my personal boundaries or move on. You made this so easy to understand, thank you Carmen.

Perfect!! Exactly what I have gone through and only recently understanding I must embrace my own needs, essentially love myself, which I never did because I was too busy making others happy. And this happened because of childhood abuse and parents who were cold, demanding and critical, so much so that I left home early to escape the hell. But now deeply spiritual, love myself, love everyone as well and grateful for every second of this divine adventure :) North Node 12th house, Taurus ascendant. Thank you again, stay blessed! OM

Yes same here . North jode aries 12th house. My last relationship was with an emotionally abusive leo rising aries sun moon scorpio . I was erasing myself and just taking care of her, taking the abusing and meditating to cope and survive. I was being south node libra and 12th hoise venus and sun too. And life served me a painful lesson . All to learn me how to be aries north node

I cried throughout this entire video! This is so true! Went through a devastating relationship with someone in whom I thought I would spend the rest of my life with during my Saturn return (I didn’t know it existed until afterwards lol) I’ve always been in long term relationships and was never really comfortable with being by myself until I turned 30 and now I’m into astrology and esoteric (also discovered my chart is predominately libra as well) and my energy is so different and lighter! Very helpful, thank you! :) Sun conjunct SN in Libra 3rd H; NN Aries 9th H. Easy to get a 2D view of Libra (shallow, flirty, air-headed, charming, indecisive, etc.) Whole life, I just felt a repulsion for Aries. But now I see what I disliked was lower Aries. With Aries 9th NN, I moved 4,000 miles away from home a decade ago. I have learned a lot on my own, through several partnerships. Used to feel like a mental prisoner to the ideologies around me, unable to express self. Like a dancing circus animal, desperate for peace and harmony and bending in any direction to get it (raised in family with multi-generational trauma issues, addiction, mental health issues, domestic abuse, neglect, divorces, lots of psychological and emotional problems in family dynamic and all the personality-based coping mechanisms that come with that). Throughout my life, that polarity of survival and co-dependence. Got my identity through personal and work relationships. Still feel safest and best in partnership but after being away this long, I feel transformed ... like I finally have control of my own mind and thoughts. I can feel into higher Libra. And when I go home to my family environment, that I feel the old banality of every-day mind-control through aggression ... but can hold my own space. interesting to see how it plays out.

@@CarmenTurnerSchott Just so I understand better: With my North Node in Aries in the 2nd house in my chart, does that mean that I need to learn how to act more "selfishly" or self-reliant with just material things/money/resources as with the 2nd house? Or that I need to strive to be more Aries-like in all areas of my life?

Oh, God ! I have NN. In my 1st house and in Aries and when Saturn came into my Scorpio / Eighth house , it pulled the rug out from under me ! I experienced hardship unlike anything I have never experienced in my life !!! But it was the best time of my life as I learned so much about myself - my capabilities , my true strength that my circumstances forced me to call upon !...... I still feel the urging of my Nn , to continue growing in certain areas and I am actively working with those energies on a daily basis , to improve myself.

Too bad I didn’t see this until now at age 50. Oh well, I have been on my own since I was 23. I am working on expanding my business. Thank you for the video, very informative.

I don’t think changing into Aries happens at the same age for everyone. It can’t be that by the book.

I have NN in Aries, south node in Libra. Coincidentally, I am an Enneagram 9 (the peacemaker), and on the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator I am an INFJ. -'The Counsellor'. This is all great stuff. It's like finally getting the owners manual to the machine that is 'You'. Now... how to fix it......

You are really describing me, your description is the best of all I've seen and thanks for explaining about the return of Saturn and the issues with relationships, really opened up my understanding of myself, like a big wow.

Wow! You have just hit the nail on the head. I'm SN Libra, NN Aries. I'm 27 and have never felt like relationships have stuck. Be it family, friends or intimate partners. I seem to always want to get out and feel free. I feel suffocated by 'too much family' as I call it but one of my strongest desires is to have a large family. I travel on my own. I never do packaged holidays...can't stand living like a tourist so I mesh myself into whatever culture is there. My Saturn return has definitely struck and it hit my finance house the most. I'm still recovering lol! But the relationship side of things has never been clear to me until now. Thank you for putting it so eloquently and you sound like a very understanding person. I feel like I have just told you my life story. Funny you should say I hate confrontation, because up until October 2012, I did and then when my bank balance decreased so did my hate for confrontation. I have definetly had to survive. Not only survive but thrive. If you told me this 10 years ago I would have laughed you down. You said something about not needing support and learning to be self sufficient.....to that I say my life since 16 has been a constant battle to survive and make it. I feel like you were talking directly to me! Thanks for letting me know that it's all for a better cause. Somehow I have always, since grade school, told people that I will get married at around the age of 30 and have my kids after that. I have stuck to it. It's like I knew about my Saturn return! I am in tears. Because for the past 4 years I have been going through this dark shift. Saturn to my understanding will return in my sign in 2025. I have been trying to understand. i am aries, and my entire life i have been supporting my mother and family, you would think it would be about me me me, but it has never been about me. and when it came to relationships , it was exactly how you described. I would take comfort in my partner. It isnt who I am , so I was confused, but this last 4 years , I was saying no to all relationships until I could first feel complete with myself. But you explaining the reasons behind the whys has cleared my mind of a lot of things. Unfortunately, I do not have my birth time, and i just paid someone recently to help me find it. I have always wanted to know where my saturn is placed, because I wanted to deal with my karma before saturn returns and slaps me in the face. Thank you for your generous explanation and for helping me understand what i have been feeling is part of my journey.

You’re so right! Like you I have extra help with my moon in Aries, Chiron in Aries in the 8th house. But it’s helped me with an awful childhood and awful 1st marriage. That’s when I took charge and reshaped my life and met my now amazing husband.

Now I'm still in the same relationship, but more willingly. I set up boundaries, learn to prioritize my desires, and strive for independence. 🙏

North Node Aries in the 4th house- I experienced a huge spiritual awakening four years ago at age 30 after leaving a toxic relationship. I’ve been in hermit mode ever since and through the dark night of the soul I’ve discovered what I want my life to be without having to please others. I enjoyed this, I'm a flip on this one, my north Node an arising is Libra but I'm Aries in sun, Merc & Venus ( R) but what u explained is still true for us an I appreciate this so much... I been having a hard time with my life an learning astrology helps me so much 🤗

My issue with the Aries NN is that it could be dangerous for me to live an adventurous, carefree life. I have 2 kids, so being carefree and putting me first might leave me homeless with 2 kids. My home life with my spouse isn't the best, but since I haven't yet got my career going I depend on him financially. I'm excellent with art, and would love to work in fashion or anything art related, but creative jobs just don't come around often. I would also love to leave the relationship I'm in and live on my own and be free. But due to lack of opportunities I'm just not able to. I need to find a way to attract opportunities so I can be more independent and happy.

Lex what it comes down to is you are indefinitely first. If you are not afloat then your kids can’t be. It’s like those safety brochures on planes where it says put on your mask to breath first the help the kid. We are only human after all so NN’s and astrology are fairly generalized. If I were you I’d get a on a regimen flexible enough to keep your sanity where you can do what you need to do first thing to stay strong through out the day. As far as bad relationships go. Get out of it or seek couples therapy. Life’s too short to be the short end of the stick.

My baby has this. He's a 10th house libra sun...so his sun conjunct his south node opposite his north node. I see him pulling himself back into this libra energy all the time (kinda hard when he is a libra sun lol) but I always try to tell him to bring out the aries and put himself first. He def has relationship karma with his chiron 7th too right next to my venus and his nodes and sun conjunct my asc/dsc (libra rising). His north node conjunct my descendant I'm very attracted to the aries he is becoming.

i'm an "Asc node Aries 6.06" born in 87... and i never knew this heavenly position was so powerful im 27 and about to turn 28 tomorrow on July 7th. i can feel this change "Asc node Aries" start in my life.. Lots of the info you shared was right on the head.. i must confess as a Cancerian with a Lunar and Ascendant in Scorpio.. this North Node aspect is a lil bitter sweet at times.. great info Carmen

Crazy truth

what does saturn return mean? Does that mean saturn coming to the same point when the individual was born (meaning 30-32 some years?) (age 30 to age 60 is the second saturn tour i guess) Also, you said "the universe will bless them", it made me smile. I was already observing myself in such a placement in my life and listening to this just made me smile... Also, I love your teaching eyes :)))) beauty of creation for teaching :))

This so describes me, it super hard to embody aries NN because my sun in libra is conj SN libra in the house of romance. I have Chiron in the 1st house which adds another crutch to being assertive in my needs and not to mention moon in 8th house in capricorn makes that even harder...

I’m in a tough challenge when I met my current boyfriend 9 years ago as friends I never thought 6 years later would fall deeply in love he showed me love in a way I never seen him when we had known eachother prior he never showed his private real love to a woman until me he is a Aries sun Gemini north node and I’m am a Gemini sun with an Aries north node and it’s is the hardest ever because I know we are each other’s teachers and the student in one way I’m grateful because it was the tough climb I needed but the relationship unfortunately has lost the love due to many other obstacles

For me, I'm a 6H Aries North Node, and the more I learn about my chart, the clearer it is to me that my current partner and I were fated to find each other and create the life events that are laid out to challenge both of us. We met in high school when I was 15 and he was 16. I had written to a friend that I had a feeling I was "going to be obsessed with him for a long time" before I had even spoken to him when he was just "the hot goth guy." XD He asked me out and I was pregnant 2 months later. *facepalm* Despite my upper middle class parent's wishes, I chose to keep our daughter and have pretty much been with "the hot goth guy" since. He is quite wonderful in many ways, and overall our charts are very compatible, BUT he can be very controlling and I've been both too dependent on him and too willing to overlook my own needs. :( I'm 34 now, our daughter is 18, and we've been together 19 years. My 9H Cancer Lilith and 2H Saturn + Venus is probably not a small part. :# Things are starting to change though! :) I had already begun working on a pretty extensive daily wellness regimen and work/chore schedule when I learned about my north node and that was just about exactly what I needed to do. ( I just learned about some of my asteroids today, so I'm going to say I intuitively knew what I needed because my Pallas is 1H Scorpio! B) XD ) AND I recently have had several difficult talks with the still-hot-but-no-longer-goth-guy and I feel different! I'm not so afraid at the idea of leaving anymore, so I'm not going to put up with the stuff I used to. And since those talks, I do feel a different energy between us too. My chart is not exactly reassuring in terms of our relationship and I have friends that think I should leave, but there is a lot worth fighting for and I still hope I can become the person I am meant to be and have the relationship I'm meant to have *with* him. This was definitely one of the best explanations I have heard on this! You had such a clear and excellent way of communicating the meaning of this placement. I have north node in Aries in the 5th house, and I can understand how I am supposed to develop my creative self expression. The only thing I am a bit confused about is that 5th house is also romance, so am I also supposed to develop the self through romances in order to have better relationships? that part confuses me a bit, as my relationships have not been able to last, just like you mentioned in the video.

Hi. Im in my mid thirties and have my north node in aries, at 29 degrees, I believe. I fear that Im going to fail my soul mission. I have a reaally hard time dealing with conflict. I fear hurting others and/or being hurt. I fear disapproval. I fear feeling guilty when somebody disapproves of me, which I usually do. I also fear the other person terminating the relationship because of that disapproval. Basically Im alone in life. Every relationship I have feels unfulfilling. I think I have a lot of pent up anger in the distant relationships that I have left, but I usually don't express it because of the reasons I mentioned earlier. I don't know how I can express anger in a healthy manner. Sometimes I wonder if that's even possible!!! Maybe it will take me a few more lifetimes to master this challenge? I don't know. Im impatient, though. :)

My south node, sun and moon are in Libra. This has been such a painful growth period for me coupled with the Pluto-Uranus squares the last few years. I wish I knew about the Nodes 15 years ago. I finally got married at age 40 only to separate after a year. It's been 5 years since the separation and I'm only now feeling this intense desire/need to be in a relationship again. I feel I've been more self-serving and selfish over the last few years but I have a ways to go. Thank you for posting this, Carmen....ahhh, timing.

@@CarmenTurnerSchott Yes, this resonates with me. Relationships are few, but all-inclusive and yes I do see a relationship as a part of me. This is VI-XII axes (SN in VI) so I do need/like/want to serve, but boundaries are such a challenge. I am a member of your groups on Fb. :)

@@CarmenTurnerSchott thank you so much. I have read your articles. My 12th house is in saturn, uranus and neptune. However, I don't have any planet in my 8th house but Leo is in my 8th house. That's what I read from my birthchart :)

Lol this is the opposite for me. I have North node in Aries and a Libra rising but I'm not a people pleaser. I am actually pretty selfish and only look at my own needs. It might me because of the way i was raised but I'm learning how to be selfless and do things for others too.

LOVE THIS! Things are finally starting to make sense! I'm a Leo Sun/Mars with Aries rising, Aries Jupiter, Aries NN and Capricorn MH. Even with all that fire, I can be extremely indecisive have trouble stepping up and putting myself out there (esp. in my career as a singer-songwriter). I thought it was my Virgo Moon, Cancer Mercury/Venus that was having this effect on me, but now I see that timid, insecure nature may have something to do with my Libra SN. Do you have any advice on how to step into my power with these placements (esp. with the Aries Jupiter/rising)? Thanks so much!
