After being in denial my entire life I finally set up an appointment to see my doctor for the 22nd of this month to start hormone replacement therapy so I can begin my transition from male to female. I’ve just got to the point where I don’t feel human in my male body anymore and literally feel like I’m suffocating. If I can’t get this change in my life starting this month then I don’t want to go on living anymore. I believe the negative person you’re referring to in my life is my mother. When I told her I was going to begin transitioning this month she got mad and hung up the phone on me. We haven’t talked in over a week. I was hoping she would be the one person in my life who would have been supportive of my choice to finally be happy.

Congratulations for making that huge decision. Im sure your mum will call you and apologise for her reaction. Try not to be too hard on her. Being a parent means they are coming from another angle, than yourself, friends or distant relatives. They probably had a rough outline of what yr life will b like now they have to readjust and mourn that old idea, whike still cheering you on. She will b happy that you are making those changes to have your outside match your insides. Dont forget you have been thinking about this for a while and she needs time to catch up. She will also b concerned that this path will bring some heartaches from others, like ppl u thought were friends, when they say unkind words or nasty judgements. She doesnt want to see her child, no matter how old get hurt. And finally...as time goes on and she tells her friends, etc about the transition, she will find that ppl now are accepting and not as judgemental as she might have thought. 🎉❤🎉

@@sf651 Thank you 🙏 for your kind words and I hope she eventually does come around because it sure would be a lot easier having my mother support me during this transition so we can bond as mother and daughter along the way instead of one day a couple years down the road and she sees me completely changed all at once. I personally think it would be less of a shock to her as well as be easier on me.

Thank you for this beautiful reading, i have left a nearly 5 year turbulent relationship, hes now waiting on placement, who would have thought a nearly 86 year old could turn your life upside down and have the most self centred family, especially his daughter, who is the card upside down, not a nice person at all.
