Спорт

Ariel Helwani opens the show by paying tribute to UFC veteran Art Jimmerson, who died last week. He then looks back at a busy combat sports weekend, including the person who announced the wrong winner for a fight. Helwani then takes a closer look at the UFC St. Louis storylines, what’s next for Derrick Lewis, and Joaquin Buckley’s post-fight speech.

Maybe the gate is a new record because the tickets prices are at an all time high?

3:00 that was the moment, cooling man down with it. 5:30 you wouldn't spend this long talking about any call out he could get.

That guy tapped to Hooper like Fedor did to Werdum. One hard tap. Maybe he wasn’t trying to tap, but I would’ve stopped it.

This is why I barely respect anybody inside the MMA space. Ariel pointed out how stupid it was to call out McGregor for Buckley, and obviously it was, yet his ridiculous cohost here makes an argument that it wasn’t

Hey people in the comments I want to know what people from around the world think about this? I’ve been wanting to write a film script called “The Most Violent Man” it’s inspired by the fight that happened between Eddie Alvarez & Justin Gaethje. I’m drawn to everything about that fight, watching their interviews and who Eddie & Justin were at that time. That 2017-2019 era is my favorite Eddie, Tony, Dustin, Justin, Pettis and many more Again the film would not be about these people they would be inspired by them. Theres already films out there at are MMA fighters and etc. I want to write something different a made up world with the storyline inspired by the fight that happened between Eddie and Justin. A world of death fighting There’s so many MMA movies already it almost seems cliche to do a film in the modern world about MMA fighters. What about a film that’s in a made up world that’s a kill or die barbaric world of fighting. A very violent literal skin, guts, and blood film. What do you think? No actual names, dates, or events just pure inspiration made up world in a made up land, with made up people, the names won’t even be similar. Just about people who wanna find out who can take more punishment and walk out alive at the end.

Eric's take on post-fight callouts is so DUMB. Yes, Eric, we know it isn't a guarantee you'll get that person. But at least call out someone who is within the realm of possibility, bro. Otherwise, it's just a waste of mic time. Eric seems to be having a lot of dumb takes these days, imo.

Ariel shouldn't speak about boxing because he has no clue about it.
