After reading comments on the newest Alex Pelletier video, whilst a very different genre, still applies to all music. It makes me sad that more people don't have the same love and appreciation for it and how it's played to make it sound good to the listener.

Aric, you completely shifted my perspective on what it is to be creative through drums. i literally lost my shit the first time i watched Blur Lights and would not stop talking to my GF and friends about how FLOORED i was to witness such creativity in motion. i am not exaggerating when i say that watching you give every part of yourself inspired me to not only progress further with my own drumming, but i shit you not, i drastically changed internally and how i view the drums and how important they are to me as a person and my identity. it was a weird timeframe of my life prior to seeing you play, but i wish i could express in words the clarity that you brought me about myself. im just extremely grateful for you and your passion towards creativity and drums as i share this passion, i just needed a reminder. i cant wait to see you live one day and truly show my appreciation for how you inspired me to accept myself for what i've always been, a DRUMMER.

This is awesome! You're completely in the zone and delivering pure perfection. What I love about your drumming is that I can hear the work that has been put in and no one can copy you because you don't try to copy someone's playing. You're an innovative drummer in a time where almost everything has already been done. I look up to you for so long now and you always push the boundaries.

My first catch of you was your 2012 guitar center drum off... Well I drove my wife,kids and friends insanely nutz playing it over n over and commenting to them on everything to the point of being told "I got it,he a good drummer!" That doesn't even begin to explain your talent and approach to the drums. You have taken a broken beat down drummer of the past and given a new and fresh lifetime of inspiration to my drumming ,for that alone I am grateful.. This piece is not only an incredibly beautiful perfectly played piece of music it also shows non players that we as drummers are not just the backbone of a band but also can be the frontal magic that is the band. Your chops are incredible and this piece proves it. Well done my brother, once again you given all of us something to grow and inspire to be. The smoothness and yet craziness to which you lay down your thoughts through your drumming is not just original but for the first time in decades completely new and fresh. Not since the first days of Steve Gadd , Bernard Purdie and the professor Neil Peart has the industry been gifted such an amazing mind and skill set. Deserves so many more views! This is a heavy freaking piece, not necessarily even created with drumming in mind it seems like. You could not know what a paradiddle is and just really have a tough time looking away.

Such a musician. The raw power is absolutely captivating. Night Verses put on a performance in my city, and at the time I didn’t know who they were. The entire performance I could not take my eyes off of Aric Improta, I had never heard the drums played like that before. I was entranced. Since then I’ve had an entirely different perspective towards music, and what it means to me, and how much am I willing to sacrifice and dedicate towards it. This dude is wild, a God of the drum world, a genuine inspiration. I will never have the words to formulate and explain how fantastic this dude is.

Not ever having heard of them, Night Verses was one of the few support acts that put the main act completely to shame when I first saw them live a couple years ago. And this guy was a major reason for that. His style and viscerality was something I had never seen or heard before, and I had been playing for some 15 years at that point, always checking out fascinating drummers. He's just something else completely.
