What I LOVE about Aric's playing is that he's not one of those guys that can just play Djent. He has very musical drumming and it really shines in his soloing.

Seriously. I feel one dimensional for just playing the drum heads he uses everything and anything. But that's usually an Artist trait, take what's in front of you and use it in different ways. Where as maybe us musicians just play for pure musical enjoyment. My 2 cents.
