Ariat workhog xt dare from Cabela's Western work boots
I've had these boots for over 2 months now and figured I do a quick review on them. Talking about the breaking. What I like and don't like about them.
I bought these boots at Cabela's for $209
They are the Ariat workhog XT dare composite toe Western work boots

I've been rocking some Thorogoods, and I have been very impressed. I never liked moc toe boots, but these have been great on a residential framing crew. They grab on the roof, and shed mud pretty well.

I hear good things about that brand. I might Get a pair. I don't care for the mock toe either. But a lot of guys on the site wear them

They are more comfortable than the nikes I wear all summer long! A few cuts and scrapes but the leather has held up, they also have some loggers that look good, if only I could run with a heel!

Anyone know the difference between the workhog and the workhog XT?
I had better luck with the Justin commander x5s they where built a little better and the soles where much better, the ariats for me where comfy for the first two months then the soles just fell apart and the shaft was sloppy loose .
Double-H boots would be very comparable with these!

I totally hate Ariat boots, extremely uncomfortable. Would never recommend them to anyone!

I bought a pair of Ariat Groundbreakers and they are the farthest thing from a work boot. Look cool but that's about it.

Ariat work hog boots made my life miserable, the most horrendous boots to break in! By time you finally get them to stop hurting your feet to the point that you’re sweating in pain....it’s time to buy a new pair. The best part of having these boots was setting those bastards on fire.
