Master craftsman, dad was in the shoe business and taught us how to care for fine leather shoes, this man hits every angle, the correct products, applied correctly and in the proper order. By using his hands he’s warming the leather which opens the pores and allows the leather to absorb the treatment (servicemen will know this). Absolutely an artist!

When I was in the military using my fingers and hands were the only way I put the polish on my boots and then I used a good horse hair brush to brush the shine out

I LOVE Ariats. It’s all I wear on the ranch. But those boots still look pretty clean and new compared to mine. And I don’t know how I found you, but I love your channel. ♥️♥️♥️

Was wondering what do you use to clean and whiten the stitching on the boots of they are really dirty and stained with dirt or mud?

This is really satisfying to watch but does anybody else think that it looks like he’s learning to walk at the start? 😂

Shoe cream is for the entire shoe. It gives it a nice shine but won’t crack like wax does. That’s why we apply shoe wax only on the toe and a little bit on the heel. Thanks

What was the reason for not cleaning the upper part of each boot? One would think that this part is just as important.

I mean if you’ve worn boots then you would know the upper part would usually stay in the pants away from dirt so there usually not dirty but if you want to clean em you can but there usually not seen unless you take the boot of

Also the uppers are almost always different material so it harder to clean

How do you feel about dubbin? I have saphir dubbin and Frye harness boots so I was gonna use the dubbin for them.... but idk if it’ll be ok

I got a question. What do you guys do if a pair of shoes or boots comes to you to shine and they don’t fit your son. Either two big or two small. What do you guys do.

I have a beautiful pair of Docs (not those shiny ones that come to mind and you wouldn’t even know they’re Doc Martens) that I need cleaned like this 😭😭😭

Hey new boots saddle soap is all right but if you as soon as you get your boots he put mink oil on them let it soak in get a toothbrush make sure it gets in all the stitching not with a cloth but a toothbrush and your boots will be waterproof at least until the top of your boot

Always wonder why you don't wash or shine the top part of the boot? Seems like that needs attention too?

Because they rarely get dirty and usually just need some conditioner. Plus the threads can be stained or damaged if shined

If you think this is a shine, you can do that with hog fat. I bought this from a shoe store. It says apply it to the shoes then wait for it to dry then buff. Well guess what, it doesn't dry unless you wait for 200 Yrs. This product sucks.

MIKE VALENCIA All my leather boots are made in USA. I have some nice leather dress shoes from Italy and Spain. Most of my tools are made in USA. It’s hard to get much else these days from the states. I try my best to support my brothers and sisters from the red white and blue! Happy Veterans Day!
