It may have started ten years ago,but that shit show of a relationship lasted a few years. The house debate is puzzling to me because Ariana has no problem moving into his apartment with Kristen after going from side chick to main chick. Everyone says lala can't complain on because she was the side chick, but so was Ariana. She is trying to say he's the guy so he should leave, but if you demand to wear the pants in the relationship and you pretty much get final say on everything, you can't pull the traditional ways when it's convenient. She was always rude and acted just like his to anyone who pissed her off. To be spiteful over him not getting the house while in a whole new relationship is petty. At the end of the day, relationships ending is a lot more complicated and no she was not this A+ girlfriend who got cheated on. They aren't married, something he wanted but her feelings came first. No kids , which he wanted and her feelings came first. It was doomed and on top of that you talk down to someone regularly and treat them like shit, you can't expect them to stick around. You can't say if Tom talked to her the way she did him, that everyone would have told her to get out, he's toxic, she deserves better....and I would argue that had the roles been reversed, people would have said "she cheated because he treated her terribly! So of course when a guy came along and treated her well she went for it" and would cheer her on.

Every time I think I couldn’t possibly dislike him more, he opens his mouth & wow I can!

What you're not understanding is that it's very possible that Tom was requesting monthly checks from Ariana that were greater than the amount she actually owed. Based on Ariana's personal math, she doesn't owe anything. If he wants to prove her wrong, he can provide receipts... he's refusing to do that because he knows he's misappropriated funds... he claims he'd need an accountant to prove this, but why would that be the case if the mortgage is coming out of his personal checking account and she was writing him personal checks to cover her portion of the mortgage?? All he has to do is print out his bank statement lol.. you guys are all falling for the narcissistic web of lies and confusion that people like Tom spin. If he was actually broke and his account was as overdrawn as he claims, he would sit down with Ariana and show her his bank statements that reflect the money that both of them have contributed towards the mortgage. I'm sure she's done the math to know the extent she's overpaid, so if he disagrees with her calculations and believes she stills owes a balance, then he needs to provide evidence contradicting her math. A normal man who is not hiding anything would not have an issue sitting down with Ariana and an accountant to sort this out. I've dealt with a financially deceptive partner and the fact that Tom moved their mortgage payments from their joint account to his personal account is a major red flag and very typical of people who are misappropriating money.

She literally is saying the mortgage comes out of Tom's account and she has stopped giving him money because "she doesn't trust him" How anyone can defend her on that is crazy. She is playing games because her name is on the house so she thinks she can't be evicted even if she doesn't pay a dime. But In California, if you are a co-owner of a property and your names are both on the mortgage, you do have the authority to evict the other co-owner under specific circumstances. If you have a legal basis for the eviction, such as non-payment of rent, violation of lease terms, or other valid reasons recognized under California law.

Ariana does not need to trust Tom with the mortgage figure, she's co-owner of the house so all she needs to do is call up the bank and find out what the exact amount of the monthly mortgage payment is and give Tom half of it every month, it's not rocket science! I totally agree that he's a lowlife for cheating on her especially with her best friend but I don't think that that gives Ariana the right to live rent free and claim ignorance as the reason why she doesn't pay her half of the mortgage! James was 20. Kirsten pursued James. Tom was habitually cheating on Kirsten and wasn't engaged to her like James was to Rachel. According to Tom all these years Kirsten was manipulating James and being abusive. Tom was 40ish, and cheating on his life partner for months. By all accounts pursued Rachel and lied to everyone about it. I get James frustration because of how involved in the engagement Tom was.

They need to just sell that damn house and split the money down to the last penny.

I feel for Schwartz. He was definitely collateral damage. Schwartz took the heat because they couldn't get at Sandoval. He is showing is loyalty by still being willing to talk to Sandoval. In the end, all of these extraneous people, James, Scheana wanting an apology from Sandoval is strange to me. Sandoval owes Ariana and Schwartz an apology. No one else.

The only person that Sandoval ever apologizes to is Schwartz

If Sandoval wants money from Ariana, it's very simple--GIVE HER AN ACCOUNTING! Why should she believe a word he says? She shouldn't! HE has proven himself to be a liar and untrustworthy. He has put himself in the position he is in; no one did it to him, he did it to himself. I suppose he will start the fake tears soon. He always cries even when the situation isn't about him. I think he does that for attention. He is such a narcissist.

She should know how much she signed for on the mortgage. I'm sure her name is on all of the bills too. The bills didn't stop because she is upset. She knows how to pick up phone. If mortgage doesn't get paid it will affect her credit.

@@shannonographythe bank does not care who pays the mortgage just that the mortgage is paid. Also how do you know that Ariana’s name is in the hills? Just cause you own a house does not automatically mean you are on all the utility bills. One owner can have it just in their name with out the other owner being listed. Same with insurance. And with how both Sandoval and Ariana are explaining things it sounds like the bills are predominately in his name. And up until he refinanced and took a HELOC loan out on the home she did know what was going in and out. And then he moved everything into his sole account so Ariana no longer sees the finances and then gives Ariana random amounts she has to pay and not telling her what they are going towards. This is also when he gets a mistress not long after and is probably buying his mistress gifts and giving her money.

@@tanyapollock587 Exactly. My husband and I have a joint account for the bills and if he tried to change that to his own account I would not stand for it. We have refinanced as well as gotten a HELOC and he never used that opportunity to change that account. However most of the bills are in his name. Only a couple of utilities are in mine. It's different because we are married so we are responsible for each other's debts, but I put zero money into our joint account even though my name is on the deed with his. Whether or not you are married, you can't just blindly trust right? If my husband cheated on me, you can be damn well sure I would not pay a dime for anything unless my lawyer told me to. People are saying she is being petty. Is it petty or is it smart? I'm sure the court will subtract her half of the mortgage back payments from the final settlement when he buys her out. But he is going to have to pay back that HELOC and it seems to be tied up in the bar so I doubt he will be able to buy her out without selling the house. Either way, we are all here in the comments arm-chair quarterbacking when we don't know the details and they have attorneys to advise them. I can't imagine an attorney would advise her not to pay her bills unless they have a plan. It's probably just a bonus that she's making it harder for him and I don't blame her.

Tom tried to DARVO James! Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim and Offender. Bringing something up from the distant past that Tom has forgiven James for is totally diverting accountability. So sad.

I actually agree with the hypocrisy of James expecting an apology when he never did the same. He is still full of excuses, i was drinking, i was 25… never once just said, ya i was a jerk to you my good friend. Tom repressed his anger out of people pleasing, not narcissism.

I thought i was the only one seeing that's the point Tom was making. I absolutely do not condone what Tom and Racquel did but these people expect alot out of each other that they themselves don't give. Saying that bcuz it happened 10 years ago so it shouldn't matter in the moment is ridiculous...the same thing James and Lala did when Racquel tried to say that bcuz they cheated with each other back then (when they were BOTH actually in relationships), they are hypocrites for coming down so hard on her and Tom

Both Lala and James are alcoholics and both take acountibility for that and are sober today. We can't compare having a few drinks and making stupid decisions to a full blown disease. Also, a 41 year old grown mans standards should be higher than comparing your actions to a 23 year old, someone who's brain isn't even fully develeped yet. Pointing at what James did to mitigate Toms own actions are... embarressing to say the least.

As home owner Ariana should know the bills regarding the house and pay them. All these people want to erase or ignore the past but it's there forever. They have all done bad things which makes them hypocrites now when they attack each other. James pissing on the bush is sign he hasn't matured either.

Apart from the Heloc loan, Ariana knows the monthly payment amount she owes for cable, half original mortgage, half monthly expenses etc. She knows exactly what she owes. Pay your half.

Why she so pissed for she cheated with Lala so what’s different
