32 year old man here. Grew up on RnB and for this generation this is easily top tier and arguably in her top 3 best songs. From the crazy relatable lyrics to the duet complimenting each other very well. It’s a masterpiece of a song in its simple yet complex vibe. Which fits the overall feel of the song and what it means to be in love with someone who you never took that chance with only to let such song fade without ever know the beauty of what could’ve been.

Heavily underrated song. Only 98mill views is a travesty. It's shimmering vocals are 'almost' in the league of 'A whole new world' or 'beauty and the beast'. But sadly buried by the sands of time!

To the people who are still listening in 2021 are legends.

We barely had an interactions because he's a quite type of a guy, so am I. He's also a academic achiever and good in leadership. At first, it was just a happy crush but days, weeks, and months had passed, until it's already our graduation day and for sure it'll be the last time I'll see him. During our graduation, he came to me and greeted me and also asked me for a picture together. The next thing he said was unbelievable. He confessed to me that he's been silently admiring me since our second week of school, that everytime he wanted to approach me, he's intimidated of my rbf look lmao. I was shocked because all this time, we both like each other but we both just kept it. Indeed, almost is never enough.

I'm not really a fan of her because I don't like her type of style but this one is definitely an exception. She must have been listening to some old soul recordings from the 70's when she wrote this.
