Hearing Ari talk about the Carlos Mencia thing really shows what kind of heart this dude has. He will fuck with you, but his heart is in the right place when it comes down to true human to human interaction. People that haven’t experienced large public shame just will not understand the mental anguish you go through afterwards. I think Ari is one of the most important people in comedy history with how much he’s done and tried to do for the stand up community. “Much Love” -Daddy Lalagone

I had 2 babies naturally, left the umbilical chords intact until a few hours after birth, they nursed while attached to the placenta with it laying on the bed beside me. Also had the placenta freeze dried and capsulated so I could eat it. We need medical intervention in some cases but the message our society sends about needing pain meds and medicalization for birth is robbing women of their primal power.

I agree with you that normalising pain meds for a natural process that's been occurring for thousands of years should be reconsidered, but uh, I'm perfectly comfortable stigmatising eating your placenta. That sounds horrific.

@@infectednetwork They offered to blend it up raw and mix it into a smoothie right then and there LOL. No way was I doing that but I did have them take the placenta and freeze dry it. Then they ground it into a powder and put it in capsules so I could swallow it like a vitamin. Just felt like taking any other vitamin, but they gave me a huge energy boost.
