I know, I'm surprised to find out that Patriarch Swjatoslaw is so young, too. I'm glad that the UGCC has such a healty, youthful clergy. I only with the Ruthenian Byzantine Church could have ordained more, and evangelized more to get a better congregation, and more interest. I'm with you, I wish that Ukrainian could be as easy to learn as Church Slavonic is, although I'm sure there's hardly much difference between the two languages.

Well, the trouble with the UGCC here in my area, is that they don't keep to traditions very well. They recite half their Divine Liturgy, I haven't seen the deacon use the censer (this is with the English language DLs at least). I'm hoping that there'll be new standards, and bring the true Byzantine tradition back to the UGCC here in America.

No! This Eastern Church is part of the Catholic Church. Commemorate pope of Rome (papa Rimsky) is the normal for them.
