Argyle was played for laughs most of the time, but I like how he gives an actually genuine reaction to seeing dead bodies, bc, like, thats terrifying to see, so it makes him an extremely likable character.

I’m gonna be honest. Even though for basically every scene Argyle is in, he is high or being stupid. He really carried the entire California group. He found the tire tracks that led them to El. And he saw the surfer boy pizza place and used the fridge for El.

Joyce is probably one of the smartest and most staunch characters, yet she cannot tell when her son is zooted as fuck. I love that

With so much heavy stuff going on this season, Argyle was a breath of fresh air every time he was on screen. He deserves more appreciation

I love Argyle's character so much. While he is high in almost and nearly all the scenes he's in, he's actually quite smart.

Argyle was hilarious, but I also liked how El was a leader of sorts in the finale. She was so well-spoken and confident, explaining to the boys how she can save Max. But "Gotta be clean to enter the mind" broke me.

We deserve more comic relief after that ending, give us more Argyle!

I can't wait to see argyle in season 5, he's totally the kind of guy who doesn't have solid roots, goes with the flow wherever he is, so makes sense for him to hang around in hawkins. What he brings to the dynamic is a classic cornerstone of the genre and as much as he's comic relief he also acts as a straight man against the backdrop of a fantastically horrifying world. Stoners are a normal occurence, dead bodies secret agents psychic powers and the plane of shadows/gates to hell are not. In this way he is an audience surrogate, he is the new dude brought into the fold on the stranger things happening in hawkins. Plus maybe the pizza place will franchise, who knows. They're coming for domino's, y'know...

Argyle honestly is one of my favorites from Season 4. Honestly the entire California plotline was great just because it offered a switch up from the standard horror scifi.
