Thats really good guide for argus,but i hoped for some more tips Here are some tips from Main argus user (820+matches,60% winrate) For heroes like eudora and saber (heroes who can one shot enemy) use ultimate first,dont hesitate,your reaction time will not be fast enough to use 1st skill or 2nd skill and ulti while not being dead) When towerdiving,use ulti after your health is low (i see lots of players use ulti right after they dive in,dont do that unless you are going to certain kill) it will prolong your time under a tower If you arent skilled enough,than of course use ultimate from start For strong fighters like yu zhong or paquito ,first test them out,if they are skilled,try poke enemy in early until you get demon hunter sword (for me its first item i get in game) that item (i read it somewhere) gives you more bonus atributes then on other heroes If you havent tank in your team, make sure you start fight first ,in late game 5seconds of immortality is enough to kill atleast 1 hero in teamfight (if you got experienced team, its possible to wipe out whole team) When you got low hp,being in ultimate state and being chased by someone,look after creep or minion to gain some HP Now some tips on specific heroes Aldous: when he chase you with ulti and you got atleast half HP left, use 1st skill right before he gets to you (you still receive dmg and ministun but point is you will still move far enough to Escape his "punch") Gatotkaca: Same like aldous ,use 1st skill right before he jumped on you Odette: When she starts ulti,use first skill on her ,it will end her ultimate Franco:Same as odette,but it works while franco surpressed your ally to cancel his ulti Vale: If he got 8 kills and assist together he receive movement speed bonus If you havent catch him with first skill,DO NOT CHASE HIM if he got speed bonus (it doesnt matter if he got low hp or is troublesome enemy,even with sprint battle spell, you wont be able to catch him) Freya ,Esmeralda When facing heroes who produce shield,make sure enemy shield worn off before ultimate (unless its necessary,because you wont get lifesteal if enemy got shield on) And last and most of guides miss this topic:Argus weakness He is very strong late hero with high DPS and unique ultimate. So ,doing opposite is counter for him (For attack speed use certain defensive item which decreases attack speed,antiheal make him receive less heal from attack while being in ultimate state) Do not let him early farm (its obvious ,but in late game ,experienced argus with atleast average coop team is almost impossible to overpower) When he is in ultimate state,stun him as much as possible or run away as fast as you can until his ultimate ends Heroes who argus consider are troublesome for him: Yu zhong,paquito,Sun,Esmeralda (Of course it depends on opponent skill,but these four are most troublesome (atleast for me) There are also annoying heroes like hayabusa (he can make you use ultimate to survive him) ,natalia with her skill which nullifies basic attack on certain area makes argus "helpless" or ling (when your ultimate ends and you try to run away,he can easily chase you to get kill) Thats all guys,i hope i helped atleast 1 person

For yu zhong esmeralda and paquito I wait for them to use their skills then I attack in early game and if you hit natalia with second skill she can't become invisible because she is receiving damage

this has to be the best argus guide.I wish my teacher would be like this, always showing examples and giving time to note down things.

Here is a few more tips Save your last item slot for a defence item (Bruteforce,Anthena) Yes there are better counterparts like Sea Halberd but in the late game buying atleast 1 defence item will make you sustain well in a war But if ur by luck dominating the early and mid game then go for the other items like Rose Gold Meteor, Sea Halberd and when the game reaches the late game switch to the defence armors If u keep feeding to ur enemy. Just push lanes instead After destroying a turret, recall and clear other waves If u are up against less tanky hero, buy windtalker after swift boots for atk speed and movement speed If u are up against tanky/sustainable heroes, buy demon hunter sword so that you get to deal enormous damage whilst healing up Lastly, ALWAYS TARGET THE ADC IN A WAR (adc= attack,damage,carry) Heroes like Miya and Layla are deadly in the late game, but so is Argus. So when entering a war, make sure you know the positions of their adc (mm and mages) and if u can't find them or u can't reach their adc, distract the enemy tank and let your team kill their adc. Edit : I forget to mention Always pay close attention to your own health bar so that you know when to ult properly

Don't max out movement speed in assassin emblem...Put 1 in movement if you have to since the emblem already provides MSpD and put the rest in cd reduction. Utilize your dashes and since most people using the killing spree talent, after getting a kill you will get moderate boost in speed to compensate not maxing it in emblem. Ult CD is important since if you are dps you can instantly be killed due to your defensive stats being below average of a normal hero. Finally, you can run a fighter emblem disabling strike kit with sustain (defense stats) to he sustainable like lapu whilst still getting enough regen and damage on ult. Former 8 Argus here (was inactive)

Honestly, Argus is such a scary hero to encounter. You go all out on him, spamming every skill on hand, execute and shit, but you don't know whether he got an active ult or he just came out of using one... He's pretty much harmless out of ult cycle, but that's the thing, you can't risk going one on one if you don't see the ult already in use with your own eyes... You whittle down his life and at the last second he goes full berserk and boom, he even got full health back on...

Late game argus can kill adc even without using ulti I killed beatrix 1 on 1 under the tower enemy ling assumed i m done with my ulti jumped on me n i thrashed him too Best way is to ask ur ally to type a in team chat if argus has used ulti on you Also many argus users dont buy any items that give cd so if you know skills3 cd at max level it can help a bit
