Well how much gold do you have? You might as well just open it and enjoy it hehe don’t worry you’ll only lose a couple bucks on it, gold is still gold! I always open my first examples of a piece, and the rest I leave in assay. I feel like I have the right to enjoy my bullion! Lol

MetalsGear course you can open it... you do not reduce any value. because when you go to sell it, they will open it for inspection... so open it, it doesn't matter if the package is open or factory closed. I have asked a large dealer in England and they told me that you do not reduce the value. I don't know who is telling you this... but I have asked and you do not reduce any value... whether it is gold or silver. unless you have been told by 3-5 stores where you live that the open package will reduce the price you will sell it for

@skincarewiththanos very true at the time I wrote this I only had 1 ounce of gold and 300 oz of silver. Today May 27 2023 I have 1,165 ounces of silver and 4.5 ounces of gold. I definitely have touched my gold

Gold is so noble that fingerprints won't really do any damage. Some mild soap and water should do the trick for fingerprints 👍

I try not to worry too much about this value, hopefully the gold and silver will stay with my family for decades as a small insurance against harsher times 😁 I wish I was as light hearted about my stock portfolio as well.... At least my metals serve as mental rehab from that.

I've concluded the market is not the right place for me many times but still I'm always back 😂 My gold and silver is merely a few percent of my total portfolio yet it gives me more enjoyment than all stocks ten times the value. It's just boring numbers on a screen that makes me feel bad when they are red 😂 Shiny metals can never go bad in your hand, they are what they are and that's just lovely 😍

Thank you! To be fair I still store in the assay, it's easier to keep track of them that way 😄 I understand it will not remedy the value but with a little tape on the cut the assay works very well for keeping the little bar secure in the stack.

Hello! The paper inside the plastic assay box is the certificate I guess. And it does have the serial number of the bar printed on it. I got nothing additional to what you see in the video 🙂

Both are the same investment grade 24K gold, Kinebar just looks more beautiful with the hologram 🙂

Very nice, I just got my first order of pure in. Was lookin for 1 oz of Sunshine but they were all sold out. I refreshed a few times and eventually found 2 20g bars 1 Sunshine and 1 Valcambi Liberty(merika lol). I think the Aussie gold looks good but I need to see how my 2 20gs pure turn out, from the pics so far my favorite print is the New Sunshine What do you think is more apealing for assayers or wholesalers, Polished/pressed bars/coins or button style? Going to binge some of your vids now thanks!

Joseph A tampering with the packaging does not change anything... if you go to sell a bar they will open it this way and that way to see if it is 999.9% gold and if it is real. inside the package you can't tell if what you bought is 1000% real it is wrong for someone to buy gold and not open it to hold this real gold in his hands ... if I am only looking at it from a plastic package, there is no reason to buy a gold bar ...

I want to open it and hold this bar in my hands and see how beautiful is she . it does not lose any value if the package is opened. when someone goes to sell it, the package will have to be opened to see if it is a real 999.9 gold bar. so what is the reason not to open to her? :) it has hard plastic and the packaging is bad, really such a big company can't take out a soft plastic one.. so you can put it back in its packaging. if we don't play with these sticks in our hands, I am of the opinion that there is no need to buy gold, just to look at them from the plastic packaging... 🙂 Am I not right in what I say? have you been told by gold dealers in England that you reduce the gold bar if the packaging is open? nice video

I'd say it's the same. Both are of the highest caliber so just go with the one you can currently find a deal on.

Sadly there is absolutely fakes out there. A serial number is easy to copy for a faker so it can be worth your while doing some basic tests at home or take it to a jeweller or coin shop to verify 🙂

It is just different products. They take a little extra money for the hologram so if someone wants a beautiful bar and pay a little extra they can buy that. But if just getting the gold as cheap as possible, these simpler bars are also available.

Yes. It will never go under spot price but it will lose a chunk of premium.

Thanks for the comment! Personally I find the online dealer landscape in Europe a bit confusing due to so many shipping rules etc, so I personally just go with europabullion even though they sometimes don’t have the lowest price. They’ve always been quick to ship and that’s my main concern.

22 and 24 are equal for investment. 22 is a stronger metal and less sensitive to scratches however.

So it’s best to take them out the packet, even though they lose value? Just to make sure it’s ten grams , when the coin shops tells me not to open them. Both packets he weighs in front of me in the shop both were 16.1 not sure what to make of these packets.

@@marryalen6286 first of all buy the seller. Either private or company, it needs to have good reputation. When you have the bars you can take it to a jeweller or gold shop which can treat it for a small fee. 👍

I open all my bullion to measure, weigh, and density check it.

@@Banggeek The hologram looks nice. But a normal person will have a hard time telling a good fake from the real deal. So buy the one you like best, but holograms can also be faked so always get it tested.

Es ist gut gemacht, aber Sicherheitszeichen sind unter den heutigen Bedingungen rar. Gold ist Geld, es gibt mehr Sicherheitszeichen auf Banknoten. Daran hat der Hersteller nicht gedacht.
