The AI is hard coded to go nuts when any major power (italy excluded) goes off the rails. For example, if UK turns brown, france will most likely go red and some minor country will form EU (faction)

Far as I'm aware, Senor Hilter has been in the game since launch, though before the DLC it was a rare event. He can also become leader of the United States under the name of Adam Hilt.

@@TheNathanNS This is true. Adam Hilt and Senor Hilter have been in the game since 1.6 when Waking the Tiger came out and added the Oppose Hitler path. It only had a 0.5% chance of popping for an AI Argentina or a Free American Empire if MacArthur wins the civil war. So it was insanely unlikely to see in-game.

7:11 paradox made it so that if Germany doesn't go historical, another nation, usually France takes up their mantle, so to speak. At least, that's what they said in the dev diaries in the lead up to WTT, if I remember correctly

I haven't watched in a while because I've been bored with hoi4, but this specific scenario is too good not to watch.

Argentina also gets some absolutely disgusting boni from its focus tree, ranging from decreases to supply consumption (godly when fighting in Brazil, Russia and China) to sizeable buffs to division recovery and artillery. I'd say they're by far the most cracked nation, especially for a meme.

What's funny is that the All German Cores thing is true. If Germany ends a war and cores Alsace it will become your core. If they get Anschluss, Sudetenland or Memel without war it counts. This also applies to the Kaiser tree's Danzig for Guarantees, which can also coincide with Memel and Sudetenland if Czechs so surrender it in their own tree. Basically, if the Germans do historical you can get Austria, Memel and Sudetenland as cores. If they go historical but Alt history france gets beat you can get Alsace as well. If they go alt histroy kaiser you will almost always get the polish corridor, katowice and memel as cores. If they do this and Czechs surrender Sudeten you get that as well. You can quite literally choose a form of Germany to take over or let the dice roll decide. I'm not sure if it works for Holy Roman Empire or EU Germany but both of these will always require player intervention to happen regardless. You could prompt them into forming them I guess by helping them in a war and giving them the lands in the peace deal given the prerequisites are met for ideology and decisions. Just hold off from the focus to core all German cores until the opportune moment and do your tree to prepare to invade Germany.

I checked the event files. If the Adolf is dead event fires and you have the first two fascist focuses, then he comes to Argentina after a month and the ai has 100% chance of rejecting him. This is a meme just for players

You should do the one where he becomes the Basileius of the Byzantine Empire, or do the TNO playthrough where Himmler becomes the leader of England under the guise of "Heinrich HMMLR"

First off, great video! Love your content and how you give commentary on the events going on. But I have to say, why did you have over 300 divisions?! No, wait am I reading that right, 240 divisions in armies and then another 162 divisions unassigned? Over 400 divisions deployed?!? That’s really not necessary in any game because of how supply works. You’ll never be able to use that many without choking on attrition. The rule of thumb is, for 90% of games, a single Field Marshall should suffice. That means no more than five armies of 24, so a cap of “only” 120 divs. If you can’t win with 120 divs, you won’t win by clogging the lines with 400. If you have men and supplies to spare, just make your existing 120 divs better. Either a wider combat width (double them from ~20 to ~40 is a common example), or start converting them to more expensive units like tanks and mech. An army of 120 mechanized 40 width units is going to utterly obliterate the guy with 400 infantry 20 width divisions that are all clogging the lines and out of supply.

Either put the game on non-historical or force Germany to go down Kaiser/Democracy path through the "custom game rules" menu. You also need the DLC that gives Germany the alt history focuses.
