The Cosby show is the only reason I know this song. Although Cosby is on a lot of people's hate list right now his show opened me up to a lot of music at such a young age.

OMG same! I found my love of jazz watching that show. Very, very informative. Plus, he’s had some quite remarkable guest stars. The show is a treasure, for MANY reasons.

this woman could sing anything. i am amazed that even in her golden years, her voice was still sounding great.

there are some standards that are sung and folks do to much and making a song unrecognizable can be a good thing at times, I just don't think it flies with this song. #There was only ONE Sarah Vaughan

Point well taken, but I do like to hear the Queen put her spin on anything. Timeless good stuff like this is subject to being recorded by many artists. I would like to think somebody will come along 50 years from now, that we have not even heard of yet, and offer their rendition. That's good music!

regardless of your "preferences" that just may be the incredible Terry Lynne Carrington on drums ?

Shame, her voice can not quite hit the notes perfectly as this is a great take on the classic.

This song is not for her voice. Too jazzy for her. She is the queen of soul.

Very bad. Watch James Middy sing that song. He was phenomenal.

I love Aretha but her phrasing here is a mess. James Moody did it the best.
