Area Disposal: Volvo Heil 7000 on rural route

Another dig deep into my fairly extensive archives brings us this older Volvo 7000 I was able to find Sean running about four years ago. Far from my best work or camera quality, and including some driving shots I'd typically edit down nowadays, I think this fairly unique route and Sean's entertaining operating style still make it worthy of publishing.
Filmed in Black Canyon City, AZ. BCC brings little to the table unless you're into meth, in which case a trip to BCC may be worth your consideration.

Great video! Love to see these old things in action. I love how fast the arm comes down on these types of trucks, makes a satisfying lid flip.

Agreed, Sean's operating style really makes it that much entertaining. He makes a point to flip the lids, you'll notice he pauses after the carts empty to make the arm come down while the lid is swinging outwards.
Cool 7000! Appreciate the long amount of footage you got for a rural looking route!

Great Video! Definitely one of my favorite trucks. With it blowing smoke and that great sounding growl it had really made this a fun truck to watch. Not to mention I Sean’s operating style as well. Liked the 300 Gallon collection as well! Does this truck still run today? Always love watching Heil7Ks from Arizona always throw me for a loop lol compared to the ones in California. Great Video hope to see more awesome stuff from you in the near future! Nice work!

WasteMan 226 This trucks been dead for a few years now. It’s replacement is a single axle 320 Autoreach, as is the rest of Areas fleet for the time being.

Yeah, the majority of this route is on dirt roads. The truck's lack of A/C in the middle of the Arizona desert certainly necessitates a "windows down" cooling scenario.
