Nothing wrong with FF just a lot more work mixing up stuff all the time. I tried gaia green muck easier and works great

Yo props for the vids. Not only do you bring precise information that clearly has some research time behind it, but you present it in a way that anyone can reasonably understand. most people don't bring enough science into this shit. With the lights, another thing to watch out for are products that are being offered, but then prices changed later after they pick up some reviews. I picked up a couple lights recently for $30 each (100w) that included Mean Well drivers and seemingly legit Samsung diodes based on the pics in your video. I checked them with a digital microscope. The drivers themselves are worth more. I verified legitimacy as much as I could.

They have two new 2022 models with a different spread ?Because I knew that they spaced the LEDs and changed the driver, but not that they reduced the amount of LEDs

@@HowWeedGrow Yeah. Reviews can be sketchy. If there are less than a few hundred, I assume that many are from employees of the company or they are getting a special deal.

Man I just want to know how many watts a 2835 uses, and what luminous output is in watts.

Def got lm301d diodes when they said they were b's but they have meanwell drivers and I got a mess of them for $12 each when the company dumped them lol. I'm not even mad really.

What if you had 2 identical lights, one had samsung LEDs and a Meanwell driver, but has worse light distribution(XS1500). And the other had very even light distribution, but generic LEDs and driver(XS1500 pro). It will be 37.5 real watts per square foot either way, and both have a 3 year waranty.

I would go with the better LEDs. Just use stands even the canopy ppfds

I just bought the Vivosun A200SE light. I asked Vivosun what diodes they are using. They said they are Everlight 2835. Less efficient than any of the Samsung 301 diodes. I had to ask them specifically for the model and version since others have asked and didn't get a complete answer. I'm seriously considering returning it before I use it. What's really sad is that the control system they have seems great. What do you think? Is it worth keeping, or should I get different lights and not use a control system?

I used their vs3000 with great results. But it’s definitely not as efficient energy wise. Black Friday is gonna have a ton of deals so I would probably return

@@HowWeedGrow Thanks for the info. I noticed that on Amazon they say the VS3000 diodes are LM301, but for some reason they don't like to mention the version. The B and H are the better ones. The D is the bottom of the barrel, and the 2835 used on the A200SE is even less efficient than the D. I think I'll return it and see what else is out there. It's too bad they got cheap on the diodes. The control system seems great!

The efficiency of lm301h evo (b evo) is 230lm/w The efficiency of lm301b or h is 220lm/w The efficiency of lm301d is 210lm/w This applies when using 65mA per chip, 0.2w of power, which is the optimal efficiency range. Most of the 100w class 301b/h products use 0.5w of power per chip. It's hot and less efficient. This is why the PPE is measured lower than the chip's specifications. The price of 200W class 301D chip product is cheaper than 100W 301B/H product If you buy a 200W class 301D chip product and use it at 50-60% output, It can be used with much better power efficiency and lower temperature

so, 301d's are the way to go running 50-75% and dropping your lights a couple inches

lm301h evo are the most efficient now but not by much. original is 3.10 umol evo is 3.14

Sounds close to the LM301H EVO's, now available. They may be 3.19 PPE, or a little more..?! Shane, of the MIGRO Channel, recently tested the first fixture putting out more than 3.0 PPE to the actual canopy itself! Not a "Light Sphere" test (I'm thinking 3.19 PPE, maybe more,.?). First fixture he's ever tested that topped 3.0 PPE, average! Maybe 10% more efficient Diodes available..?! I'll wait till these drop in price!👍💯✌️

Samsung diods are super cheap cost 0,10c led not expensive até ALL mean well drivers are cheap too But led companies claim ALL of that IS too expensive ... need tô gain more money merchandising and The lay influencers KZreadrs with equipaments to sell products not diferent of Premium brands they want you tô pay more money.... Testinga a chinese Quantum board for 80bucks and um prety surprised mesures shows Very good results

@@growersplus oh I thought you were saying the LEDs were BS(bullsh*t). But yeah mine are H’s. They went back to B’s due to supply issues, but 5% isn’t enough for me not to get it again

@@growersplus you can’t tell the difference between H’s and B’s, the only way to tell is to look at the back of the chips and there’s an X. Mine was the initial drop of the lights which were H’s and they went backwards

moso is faaaar from the best driver brand,it aint even in the top 5
