Put gel cleanser on face dry. Stwrt cleansing and then add a tiny bit of water to get sudsing action. Then begin really cleansing. Putting it on dry skin will make the active products in the cleanser work better. Slowly adding water will alow you to control how much you are exfoliating

You probably drink water wrong, drinking like this instead, take a glass, pour it on the glass, and put it on the fridge, and let it out, and then drink, that's how you drink water 😂😂

If a cleasner makes your skin dry or stripped off just by using it for 60seconds.. the cleanser doesn't suit your skintype

@@jamesmiller9764 well, the part about dry is true,it doesn't suit you, but don't keep the cleansing on your face too long, actually max 60 second, not min 60s and depend on which cleanser you use. Like i use laroche-posay effaclar,it's actually pretty good, but will too strong if u leave it on your face too long.

What he’s doing is correct. You need to work the cleanser into your skin very well to make sure that you’re actually getting your face clean from makeup/sunscreen/dirt. Plus, if your cleanser has any active ingredients in it then it has to stay on your face for a while so that the ingredients have time to penetrate. As someone else said, if this makes your skin dry then you’re using the wrong cleanser.

@@LinaKyima It depends on the formulation of cleanser. Some make foam, some don't. For example, like the cleanser from Laroche-posay, you can try to do it like he did with that cleanser,it will never having any foam like the cleanser he used. Second, like I said in other comment, some cleanser actually really powerful, if you leave it on too long on the skin, it can strip and makes your skin irritation. Even the manufacturer said, don't use it too long on face. Thing you need to do, using micellar water and then wash your face with cleanser, then your face will be clean enough. Besides it depends on the technical message your face too. KZreadrs aren't always right when they share something, because it may work on them, but not for everybody

60 seconds is too long for my dry skin. But I double cleanse using a normal cleanser and cetaphil gentle cleanser. Works for me.

You should be washing your face for at least 60 seconds with your cleanser even after double cleansing. If your cleanser is drying out your skin then your not using the right one for your skin type 😁 I made this mistake and once I switched to a hydrating cleanser my skin stopped feeling and looking stripped.

@@samanthabrittain8680 what I do is take 30 seconds each per cleanser. Too much washing will make my skin flaky. I tried different cleansers already but they all give me the same result except when I use Cetaphil gentle cleanser but this alone don't really get the job done. So I compensate with hydrating serums and moisturizers. If I try to change routine, breakout will start automatically 😩

You do not have to emulsify your cleanser but you should be washing your face for at least 60 seconds. If your using a acne fighting cleanser then massage it onto your skin for 60 seconds then leave it for another minute or two before rinsing it.

I now put on bubbly emulsified cleanser on my wet face and massage it for a swift amount of time and leave it on for 5 minutes if it has active ingredients or 3 minutes if it's a regular one, then rinse it off.
