My boss (48) said to me (39) “why do you dress like a young person” I told him “I’ve dressed like this all my life, maybe it’s the younger generation dressing like me?”

I’m 38 and have a ton of Jordan’s I wear regularly. I couldn’t afford them when I was younger and am now taking advantage of being able to buy what I want. Also, I’m too old to care what anyone thinks about my footwear. I dig it and that’s all that matters
70 and still rocking my Jordans. Just bought a pair of the bred 4 reimagined.
I´m 42 and will hopefully wear Air Jordans for many many decades more. But the fun thing is that i have been wearing Air Jordans and other baskeballshoes since i was 10-11, and daily i get bullied by kids saying that i try to dress like a youngster and that im to old.
I was borin in 82 and I still wear Jordan's even Reebok pumps. I believe just wear what you and live life.

41 here. Jordans are iconic. I remember growing up wishing I could get a pair but we didn't have a lot of money. After college and the army, I started buying them. Then I got married and had kids and had to stop. About 5 years ago I started back up. Everyone in my house rocks J's. Age 7, 11, 13, 38, and 41. My kids now get the J's I wanted so badly growing up. They even alert me to the hyped pairs now. I have noticed that age groups tend to gravitate towards certain J's though. Young kids tend to like AJ1s and teenagers like AJ4s. Us old heads like them all... Well, up to 14s, then it's case by case.
Telling the generation that grew up with those shoes not to wear the shoes pf their generation is just silly.
I'm 42, and I buy and collect sneakers of my era. It's more of a nostalgic thing for me. My parents couldn't afford them back in the day. So I'm a stage in my life where I'm going back and collecting the sneaker I couldn't get. Like the Reebok kamikaze and pumps and original jordan colorways.
I'm 54 and have been wearing Jay's since 1985 so I plan on wearing them till the end.
It’s a mindset, wear what you want. Other people shouldn’t dictate what you wear. It’s a personal choice. Let people be. I’m getting older and I’ve been wearing more comfort lately but Jordan’s will always have a special place for me.
Totally agreed with finally being able to afford the models we always wanted as kids.
People need to mind their business! I spent my entire childhood wanting shoes that I couldn't afford and now that I'm older, you better believe I'm buying those darn shoes, even if they aren't comfortable!😂😂
I'm 46, I'm from the Chicago area. I grew up with these shoes, watching the releases, watching Jordan play. The Jordan 4 white cements were the shoe that made me fall in love with sneakers. I have a decent collection, enough to wear a different pair every day of the month. Jordan 5 black metallics were my first pair back in 1990. Nobody is going to tell me that I'm too old to wear Jordan's. Do not cite the deep magic to me witch, I was there when it was written. 😄
It depends on the model and color. 1 lows, 3's, and 11's are perfect for old heads. 🙏🏾

I’ll stop wearing Jordan’s at the age Jordan himself does 😅

At 51 and I’m still rocking Air Jordans. Got my first pair of AJ1 Chicagos when I was around 13 or 14 in the mid-80s. Like you I couldn’t grab all the kicks I wanted back then. Too expensive. Nowadays, my income affords me many of the luxuries that I couldn’t enjoy back in my younger days. I also dress quite conservatively, even while wearing Jordans. You just have to know how. No, they’re not the most comfortable and on most days I’m wearing New Balance. And admittedly I do have a lot of sneakers sitting in the closet that I’ve only worn once or not at all. However, it’s great to be able to buy and wear what you like at your own personal leisure. We earned our way through life and really don’t care about the opinions of others.
I’m 50 and I’m going to wear Js until I die
I'm 38 and see no end to me wearing them. I bought my mom a pair of 1s and she wears them and they look good.
I turn 54 tomorrow and still buy Jordans. I buy and wear what makes me happy. Could give a 💩 what people think
i literally saw a video other day where a old guy probably in 70s or high 60s go into a store and bought a pair of jordan 6s. Age ain't nothing but a number when it comes to style. As long as ur comfortable with what ur wearing u wear whatever u want at whatever age and its also about if u can pull it off not everyone can pull off jordans at that age but. To those who can they can continue wearing them.

Didn’t buy my first Jordan until I turned 30. I’m stupid late to the shoe game.
I think it’s great that people of all ages wear Jordans and SB’s even because it brings together different worlds of style and eras of what we wear
41 here still rocking Jordan's. I've had Jordan ever since the OG Jordan 5. Some Jordan's are subtle and others are way too loud and bulky so I prefer Jordan 1s now since they look simple.
Wear what you want. You can’t lose when you do what makes you happy.
Im 48, and i started collecting sneakers about a year and a half ago. I am but shoes I could never afford when I was a teen. When I was a young adult I started having kids so $200 shoes was out of the question. I'm 30 pairs deep and I don't give AF what people say.
Have loved sneakers/Jordan's since I can remember and will continue to do so, regardless. I'm 45yrs old, I have perhaps toned down the brighter cw's, but still rocking jordans and Nike's.

I've been wearing them since i first had the J5 as a 9 year old in 1990. As i said in your short, Jordans are were made for people of my generation and older. It's our era. I wear all kinds of kicks from that era. I'm still rocking the giant Reebok pump hightops. I still wear the same clothes I did back then. my wardrobe is 90% vintage 80s n 90s clothing. Lots of neon, shellsuits, ripped acid wash jeans, and so on and so forth. Idgaf.😂
Such a dope video. Love this discussion
I was in 4th grade when Mrs. Jordan (his mother) introduced this basketball great, her son, to the world. Being a young black boy playing basketball with other boys my age, Michael Jordan was our everything. We all wanted his shoes and to learn how to “Slam Dunk.” From 1 to the last ones produce, I will forever commemorate my childhood basketball experience by wearing Jordan’s.
71 year old guy at my job wears heaters daily , he said he became passionate for sneakers in his 30s and it just makes him happy . Only thing he did say was he can notice discomfort in certain models due to his old age . Bro had on some black toe 14s from 98 and they weren’t crumbling and still looked fresh 😂
I'm in my 40's and rock Jordan 1 lows a fair bit. I do wear them differently now but. I buy them a half size up, keep the laces tied and wear them as slip ons now. New Jordans like the 36's, especially lows are awesome as well. I'll never stop wearing them
I am an active senior, and wear Jordan 1 lows and Air Force 1 lows to the gym, golf course and for casual wear. I am tempted to get a pair of high tops, but haven’t pulled the trigger. LOL
You hit it right on!! Couldn’t afford it when I was young, and now I can

No age limit for sneakers,it’s the outfit you wear with them that determines whether you are a middle aged bloke/old man going through a midlife crisis.
Im now 50 and wear it from the beginning and i hope the next 50 Years 😅
I'm 58 yrs old but i wear all the times the jordan retros . I looks young anyway 😊😊😊 tomorrow I'm going to pick up the jordan 4 reimagined
The long jazzy outro is a nice touch
Bro this is an awesome video (except for the crocks part lol) I’m 45 and I just bought the off noir 3’s a month ago and have 1’s (obviously) also I wear Yeezys all the time! so I love that you made this video and thank you for being real as you always are. Good work! And keep it up and please keep making content!
You hit the nail on the head with all your points on us 80s babys. I'm not a huge fan of Jordans because of the comfort, even from a young age. But I'll be wearing sneakers until the end of time. And loud color ones ! 😁
As an old sneaker head from the 70’s and skater. I still buy SB’s and Skate. I love how I can get SB Dunks and Jordan’s at retail, and resellers are calling them bricks. If you invest in stocks, you buy when the market is down and sell when the market comes back.
As a current 42 year old the older I'm getting now the more I don't care about other people's opinion anymore. Feels good living life however you want and besides who is honestly going to stop you from wearing Jordans.
It was the Spacejam 11 that made me want Jordans after watching it at the cinema as a kid. How's some teenager gonna tell me I can't wear the shoe from my childhood
I work with a guy who’s in his 50s and his second day on the job came in with some J1s - respect for him skyrocketed since that day!
Great vid loved your reasoning
only knew of the video because of your instagram love your stuff as always.
3s really are my go to pair for everyday wearing and 13s for everyday high tops.
It’s like saying Michael Jordan himself is too old to wear Jordan’s 😂
I would 100% rock the lightning mcqueen crocs but only because I have a 5 year old that was obsessed with that movie. Actually, I find myself copping more colorful sneakers mainly because my kids get a kick out of it. I still avoid the bulkier silhouettes though the older I get just because they don't go well with what I usually wear.
As an MJ fan growing up…I feel your sentiment on not being able to cop J’s when I was a kid on an emotional level…so please believe me when I say that this video cemented my love for you and what you do, mate 🙏🏼🔥
Your on feet shots are the best in the business. Keep the 2 stepping going.
KZread recommended me your video and I am so thankful, really great stuff Man. btw I was wondering do you need an editor for editing your videos.
There is no age limit to wear what you like. I'll be damn is someone tries to put a cap on things that I like to wear. I'm 37 now, and will still be rocking my Js when I am 75. God willing I'm still alive lol.
I’m almost 30 years old and I still wear Jordan’s and collect but as I’ve been getting older comfort has started to matter to me a lot so yes I’ll still collect and wear Jordan’s but I’ll also be investing in comfortable sneakers to wear casually or to work like a New Balance or a Vomero, -Kara
Your on point..
Michael Jordan turned 61 today, that doesn't Stop him to wear his own Shoes! I'm 46 and I also wear only Jordans. I don't will Stop because of getting older. Wear what you like and don't give a f..k about other people opinions! Be free and do what you want to do. Nobody have the right to judge you.
shit i was bouta be in a sneakernomics video😂😂
At 3:24 THANK YOU!!!! I went my whole like wearing cheap sketchers and vans, and now I can FINALLY afford Iconic AJs and now I’m too old for them at 30 ?? I have to wear boring as leather loafers ???? Fuck that.
I'm 35, and intend to wear Jordans as I always have. I do understand that as you age, you're "expected" to be more conservative in your attire.... however, I'm someone that has (truly) only worn plain or modest black clothes for 20+ years; my shoes are where the color comes from. So, in a sense, I've dressed conservatively since I was a teenager. But goddamnit, my shoes are always going to do the real work.
I’ll be 42 this year and honestly I’ve been finding myself with the exception of 1s and 3s, just not wanting to wear em. I still love the way they look but I dunno just so clunky etc.
Found your channel and subscribed. I am 41 and I wear what I like. All my jordans, 1,3,4 s and air maxes. Wear what you like. Idc what others say. Greetings from Germany
Just comes back to being happy in what u wear, also as i have got older i really couldnt care less what some random thinks of me. Glad you mentioned the powerpuff sbs that is a bit odd to me, seeing grown men get excited by a childrens release. To be fair though they are in adult sizes.
Your choice of what your wear stems from the level of enjoyment you get whilst wearing said items; if you feel uncomfortable wearing Jordans because you feel like they are no longer age-appropriate for you at the stage of your life, then no amount of love or defiance can compensate for that. I'm 43yo. I grew up watching the NBA at the golden age of 90s basketball. Just like Jordan mentioned in this video my financial situation now allows me to afford many of the sneakers I can only dream about when I was a young lad. However, personally, I just can't get over the fact that I would look extremely out of place if I walk out of the house wearing a pair of Jordan 4 or 5 with the outfits I now wear. Jordan 1s however, I still wear regularly, as they work really well with more mature outfits. I'm not saying that you have to dress a certain way at a certain age, but if I feel even a little self-conscious about what I am wearing, then that kills any enjoyment wearing a fresh pair of Jordans.
Does this also mean I can’t play Warzone, drive a fast car,and watch sneaker reviews!?!? Asking for a friend.
I. My 40’s and revamping my collection again now with the reimagined and craft series’s
Born in 82, MJ changed how I lived. Couldn't get a pair till mom spent rent on a pair of fire red 5s and carried the love with me from then on. My son, revived it in me after it went dormant for a while, now my daughter and wifey get as many pairs as I do. More Js than ever, I work hard, I buy and wear what I like, all the bills are paid, and have savings. Need to stain my deck too tho 😂
I’m an American and I’ve never heard of that man in my life. And yes, the power puff girls drop really tested me…. Still copped. 😂😂😂
I’m 50 and I’m still wearing Jordan 1 lows and Jordan 4 and I will still be wearing em 👌🏼
I think people nowadays have somewhat tainted the image of people who truly wear streetwear as a lifestyle. I've seen a lot people past their 30s suddenly buying jordans and baseball jackets, even though they NEVER wore anything close to it in the past 15 years. In my past 15 years (half my life) I've only bought basketball sneakers and streetwear clothing. Streetwear is both an expression of identity and a fashion statement, but you either pull it off or you don't, is easy to perceive the ones who don't, and jordans, sadly, is the first thing in their outfit.
44 and just bought the Year of the dragon OG lows. They look amazing under a dark slimfit and a nice hoodie.
I'm 54 - I have 5 pair of Jordan Zoom CMFTs and some lows and some 3s. Do and wear what you like.
I'm 51, but look 35, but i would wear Jordans if they were comfortable- they're often not. I prefer my Yeezy Compacts with Boost- feel orthopaedic. Always loved the Jordan 5's since 1989- beautiful shoe, £90 in 1989- £282 in today's prices.
Why do people say that? Its not the year 1859 where here having dress is about the only option you have. If you notice how comfortabel a sneaker is compare to anything else why would you want something else. Comfort over aesthetics
I could care less what another person thinks about what I’m wearing. Ima wear WTF I wanna wear. Ppl be worried about other ppl too much…
There are no age restrictions in fashion and apparel, I saw a old Chinese uncle wearing a Travis Scott Aj1 Low dark mocha last week friday in a restaurant for Chinese new year reunion dinner with his kids and grandkids, there is no problem with that, everybody can enjoy what they like, as long as they are financially capable.
I'm too old to have a stranger tell me what I can put on my feet I know that much 😂
I didn't start wearing Jordans until I was 40

Hay, I'm 65, and I still love Jordan shoes and all kinds of shoes
Look, I am 46…been wearing Jordan’s since 1989…will wear them until I die. Enough said….
WEAR WHAT THE F**K YOU WANT TO WEAR PEOPLE , THESE FOOLS ON SOCIAL MEDIA ARE ridiculous
Comfort: Yes, the cheapest running shoe might be more comfortable than a Jordan 1. I wouldn't wear an AJ1 for long runs or "more serious" hooping. However, I have ZERO problems wearing a Jordan 1 for 20 hours and walking around all day, and even a bit of casual basketball. They are not that bad at all. And I'll continue to wear them forever because I like them, and that's nobody's business.
Over 40 here and my wife doesn’t like when I wear Jordan’s. But she still helps me with drops and will get our son (teen) these shoes . 🤷
