Funny story I stumbled across Rev Beckwith when I went to the Agape Book store to buy Neil’s book Conversations with God back in 2006 and saw Michael Beckwith in the hallway! He had an angelic presence about him that I never felt before or after! These two men literally changed my life for the better!!

Just before a month when my mother passed away...i went to meet her and before coming out from her home ..a strong desire came from my inner self to hug my mom ...but as my husband was in so much hurry i couldn't do that..and we left...that was my last meeting with my mom before her death ..

Although I appreciate his response to this difficult question, I think its also essential to do work witha therapist around building a secure attachment for the frightened child who is been harmed through multigenerational abuse. And there are therapies like IPF Ideal Parent Figure Protocol and Internal Family systems. That has been my experience. I can turn this over to my higher power but there also needs to be intentional work in healing the inner child and the inner family. Until that child feels seen, heard, safe, comfort, I don't think the forgiveness will be deep enough and it may be a spiritual bypass. No one wants to be stuck inresentment and unforgiveness but my first priority is to heal the child who has been harmed and then eventually find forgiveness or at least some level of acceptance
