Well - you would need to have common klnowledge of volume calculation of cubic objects - depth x area(widthxdepth) -then you would need to know a bit less common knowledge, that 1m^3 is 1000 liters. -36x1000=36'000 (L) It is easy to remember - 1 liter of water (or similarry dense matter) weights 1 kilogram. 1m^3 or 1000 L of water weights 1 ton.

converted it all to cm^3. I know that is a millilitre and can divide by 1000 at the end to get the answer. A brain teaser yes, difficult, no. Also, the Belgian flag one was so easy but then I am european and have been to Belgium.

1 Litre is 1000cm cubed, which makes a 10cm x 10cm x 10cm cube (1/10 of a meter in each direction) so it would be (3x10) x (6x10) x (2x10) =30 x 60 x 20 =36000
