Elvis in swing time…I love it!!!

As much as I loathe getting older so quickly, the upside is that my tastes are also evolving as well. When I was a much younger man I would NEVER listen to this music. So here's to the upside 😊❤. Did I mention just how extraordinary this is in its entirety?

Absolutely. The happiest place on Earth is wherever Gunhild is. She brings the joy everywhere. Her positivity is contagious.

When I was young Elvis had a hit with this one.

This is REALLY excellent ensemble playing. Really good ensemble playing isn't easy to achieve as it is so different than solo playing. And even though Gunhild Carling is sort of the center of their little universe, she is also a great ensemble player and not just being a soloist. This is a big reason this group sounds great. It is a willingness to sacrifice some of what you could do for the good of the group. Any of their performances could be used to help teach the concept of ensemble playing in the classroom.

i love this, that dress too. I personally play the trombone, so this is nice to see someone so talented nowadays as the same instrument as mine and yours. I understand you play other instruments, but I love it when you play the trombone. :)

Superb! Elvis Presley's version is the classic but the song is much older; Charles Hart recorded it in 1927; it starts with an introduction which I think is a shame to be missing on later versions.
