Are You in Contract or Covenant? - Jim Staley 2024

Ойын-сауық

Discover the difference between the ancient Middle Eastern covenants and our modern-day contracts as we dissect the profound disparities between the two in our latest teaching! 🌍💼
Delve into the sacred texts of the Bible, where covenantal relationships between humanity and the divine were forged through solemn vows and divine promises. Journey through the narratives of ancient faith, where covenantal fidelity, grace, and moral obligations formed the cornerstone of communal bonds. And as we contrast biblical covenant and secular contract, we will discover what has been missing all along in our own personal relationships with both our fellow man and with God.

Shabbat Shalom brother what a great message. I pray the the Father puts it on your heart to held a retreat for men/ husbands and fathers before Passover. To fast and pray together as men to strengthen one another and to minister to one another. To do deliverance and sharpen one another. Many men didn’t grow up with a father figure to learn how to be good fathers and husbands. The discipleship is needed in the body of Christ/ Yeshua as they are the frontline in this battle field to be able to protect their families.

Wow, Jim, I had a dream about Aliyah, before I even knew what it was! Amazing! In my dream which I'm not going into right now, but I was pregnant and when the baby was born a nurse brought me a baby girl, I was in a recovery bed and in a dark room, and I saw her name written in white luminous letters in Hebrew in the air above the nurse and baby she was handing me. It was over a year before I learned about keeping Torah and the meaning of Aliyah as coming up closer to God and learning Torah. HalleluYah! Love this teaching!

HalleluYah this message is in perfect alignment with everything YHWH has been teaching me. Right down to the closing words being tied to what He ministered to me this morning during my prayer in putting on His full armor. He ministered directly to me in the Ruach that the Sword of the Spirit which is His Word is the only piece of His armor which is not intended primarily to defend ones self but the sword is for the followers of Messiah to go forth and defend others! His Word is the ultimate weapon in justice, setting captives and the oppressed free! May we each one wield this weapon in perfect balance with what covenant Truly means! HalleluYah!

Jesus said “Sin no more”. Would Jesus say to do something, that cannot be done? Of course not. He means, what He says. John 8:11 She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you; go, and from now on sin no more.” John 5:14 Afterward Jesus found him in the temple and said to him, “See, you are well! Sin no more, that nothing worse may happen to you.” Blessings to all who read this. 🙏🙌😇

The day we begin repenting of our contractual marriage with the State, the Most High will move on our behalf. Unfortunately, this latter generation has become lukewarm, rebellious and complacent to do such a thing, and would rather perish instead. How can we discern between what we gave to Yahweh vs long suffering and forgiveness? I had a situation that I just gave to Yahweh but still over here numb but trying to gather some retrust with the one the situation is with….? I’m fighting myself whether I should just stay silent because I gave it to Yahweh or just little by little try to revisit the one who wronged me. I asked and typically only make moves when I have clarity. If I feel it’s blocked I feel it’s Yahweh saying not right now…. But wondering if I’m wrong for having no feeling towards the one who wronged me or if it’s being cut off because I gave it to Yahweh because that was something way above anything I could handle. It’s was definitely a situation of spiritual warfare.

@catherineallison Shalom and welcome to the most blessed day of the week! I like to start on Thursday (Preperation Day) and get all my chores, cleaning, grocery shopping etc. done. Then on Friday long before sunset make a salad, sandwiches, veggies ready to have to eat on Shabbat (no cooking [no buying/selling] through Saturday sunset). And if you’re planning a special dinner for Erve Shabbat, the night of, prepare all of it Friday and have ready to eat before sunset (including dishes getting done). If all the chores are done prior, you’ll find that your mind and eyes aren’t looking at what needs to be done. You can also put up “🚫Shabbat” sticky notes to remind yourself. May your says of ceasing be a blessing to יהרה / Yahweh, and to you! In His Son יהרשע / Yeshua’s matchless Name. Ahmein and Ahmein.

*Read Jeremiah 31 - read the whole chapter, you'll see it speaks of the restoration of Israel and that the new covenant will be with Israel:* 31 The days are surely coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant *with the house of Israel and the house of Judah* *The only difference between the old covenant and the new covenant is that no one would need to be taught God's law as it will be in their hearts:* 33 But this is the covenant that I will make *with the house of Israel* after those days, says the Lord: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 34 *No longer shall they teach one another or say to each other, “Know the Lord,” for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, says the Lord,* for I will forgive their iniquity and remember their sin no more. *Especially read verses 29-30 that refute Christianity that another person can die for your sins, nor will it be any longer thought of as possible at the end of days:* 29 In those days *they shall no longer say: “The parents have eaten sour grapes, and the children’s teeth are set on edge.”* 30 *But all shall die for their own sins;* the teeth of the one who eats sour grapes shall be set on edge. *Now look what you were wrongly taught: the Mosaic covenant is eternal even if Israel sins:* 36 *"If this fixed order were ever to cease from my presence, says the Lord, then also the offspring of Israel would cease to be a nation before me forever.* 37 Thus says the Lord: *If the heavens above can be measured and the foundations of the earth below can be explored, then I will reject all the offspring of Israel because of all they have done, says the Lord.* *You have indeed inherited... and vanity. I'm sorry.*

*Here's how Paul misled you:* *Romans 10:* 6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, *Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? @@Kali08012 I'm Jewish so yeah.. we weren't blind, we were told that we would be tested that way, God said so. And as a jewish person I can tell you that Jesus's teachings were not the teachings God relayed to us.. he did change the law. I'll show regarding these two points: *See what God told us about worshiping another God:* *Deuteronomy 13* 1 Everything I command you that you shall be careful to do it. You shall neither add to it, nor subtract from it. 2 If there will arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of a dream, and he gives you a sign or a wonder, 3 and the sign or the wonder of which he spoke to you happens, [and he] says, "Let us go after other gods *which you have not known,* and let us worship them," 4 you shall not heed the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of a dream; *for the Lord, your God, is testing you, to know whether you really love the Lord, your God, with all your heart and with all your soul.* 5 *You shall follow the Lord, your God, fear Him, keep His commandments, heed His voice, worship Him, and cleave to Him.* 6 And that prophet, or that dreamer of a dream shall be put to death; because he spoke falsehood about the Lord, your God Who brought you out of the land of Egypt, and Who redeemed you from the house of bondage, *to lead you astray from the way in which the Lord, your God, commanded you to go;* so shall you clear away the evil from your midst. 7 If your brother, the son of your mother, tempts you in secret or your son, or your daughter, or the wife of your embrace, or your friend, who is as your own soul saying, *"Let us go and worship other gods, which neither you, nor your forefathers have known"* 8 Of the gods of the peoples around you, [whether] near to you or far from you, from one end of the earth to the other end of the earth; 9 You shall not desire him, and you shall not hearken to him; neither shall you pity him, have mercy upon him, nor shield him. 10 But you shall surely kill him, your hand shall be the first against him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people. ___________________________________________________ *God warned us that is exactly how He will test us - false prophets who perform miracles and lead us to worship something other than the God our fathers knew ! (Deuteronomy 13).* __________________________________________________ Every time the Gospels says 'You have heard it is said.. but I say to you' is pretty much Jesus's new interpretation to the law, adding to the law of God and lacking the fences that are required. God didn't tell us to be perfect, if He wanted us perfect He would have created us this way. We were told to be holy, and when a person adheres to God's law he is that, a separate law for the Jew (who has a 'job' to do) and another for the gentile who worships God alone as He ordered. We are not to worship any middle man or think of that person as anything but human. Matthew 5 21 “You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘You shall not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.’ 22 But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister, ‘Raca,’ is answerable to the court. And anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell. We are told not to hate, but being angry and for that to be considered as murder is adding to the law. 27 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ 28 But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 If your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. 30 And if your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell. If you lust after a married woman it is a sin, but without such thoughts towards an eligible spouse that marriage is doomed from the get go. 31 “It has been said, ‘Anyone who divorces his wife must give her a certificate of divorce.’ 32 But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, makes her the victim of adultery, and anyone who marries a divorced woman commits adultery. If a man no longer loves his wife we are told he shouldn't keep her as his wife, and i personally (and most people I suspect as well) would not care to stay if I'm not wanted. It is true that every measure should be taken to prevent such a case though. As for a divorced woman - what a load of... it is not adultery. The only one who may not marry a divorcé is a Cohen. Those are just a few. __________________________________________________ *Psalm 146:* 3 *Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.* 4 *His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.* 5 *Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God:* *Jeremiah 17* 5 Thus saith the Lord; *Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord.* __________________________________________________ I've got plenty more to show you if you'd like to see how the OT (the Tanach as we call it) was misused to make the whole narrative, and I'm really sorry.

contract and covenant are the SAME word. the first 12 minutes of this video PROVE THAT. At 12 minutes, this definition difference has errors ON BOTH definitions of contract and covenant. I have taken a contract Law class and have a business degree in accounting. I have studied theology for nearly 50 years AND have debated it for the same amount of time. So i didnt just study it, i constantly face OPPOSITION. Otherwise, this teaching is pretty amazing... sort of. lol

if we look at how an atheist like Ayn Rand would define covenant, then sure this example at 12 minutes is CORRECT. If we look at how the BIBLICAL CHRISTIAN founders of the United States would define a contract, this video is INCORRECT AND WRONG!!!

The Greek name Iēsoûs translates to Jesus. The name of our Lord The Hebrew name Jehoshua/Yeshua translates to Joshua. The name of the successor to Moses. Any bible software will give you the translation. This came from the Blue Letter Bible Strong's Number G2424 matches the Greek Ἰησοῦς Iēsoûs, ee-ay-sooce', which occurs 975 times in 935 verses in the Textus Receptus Greek. The TR was the translation base for the original German Luther, and King James bible. Outline of Biblical Usage New Testament Jesus = "Jehovah is salvation" Outline of Biblical Usage Old Testament Joshua or Jehoshua = "Jehovah is salvation" The names may mean the same thing, but the names are not the same. Yeshua, a Hebrew name, which translates to Joshua, not Jesus. He is always called Jesus, not Joshua I never hear anyone call him Joshua, everyone calls on the name, Jesus. Nowhere, I repeat nowhere in the bible is Jesus called Yeshua... Greek was the common language spoken by most people in that region, declared the official language by Alexander the Great around 300 BC. The Septuagint was written around 250 BC, because most people spoke Greek, and wanted to be able to read scripture. This is historical fact. Blessings to you and all who read this. 🙏🙌😇

I have a large Christian audience as well that are unfamiliar with the Hebrew terms. So I use both to teach as I go. Jesus is the direct English transliteration from the Greek and Latin that came from the Hebrew name Yeshua. so there is no issue with using Jesus. I just prefer to go back to the original.

@@PassionForTruthVideo You did a teaching on it once (as have many others). It is NOT a transliteration of His Name. You once said "it is not the same name." You were correct then. I found over twenty so called transliterations to other languages and most are not even close to the form of His Hebrew name. You probably know there are some Muslims who use the Aramaic Yeshua and othere use Isa. Weird that they get it closer to transliteration than we do. With how much importance scripture puts on His name as well the father Yahuah, those who know He has ONE NAME (given by the messager that actually defines who He is, Yah is Salvation) we wouldn't punt to please those who don't know. We simply tell them the Truth. His name is being restored by many who seek His truth. I Hope you get back to what you once believed, and not compromise to please. I'll keep you in prayer. Shalom

@@markdlt2989Do you remember when Paul says “To the Jews I became like a Jew, to the Greeks I became like the Greeks?” This whole name issue was a topic the Father had to soften my heart on. I think within our Zeal for the truth and wanting to honor Yahweh and his Son that we forget that Yahweh was the one that confounded the languages back at the Tower of Babel. He knows that we have different languages and that names get transliterated over time. He knows the deceptions out there, he meets everyone where they are at. When I came out of the New Age I was radically saved in a spiritual attack by the enemy by calling on the name of Jesus. He didn’t turn his back to me or stop his ears at the name Jesus, but saved me. There are lots of testimonies out there that are similar to mine. Interestingly there is an alien abduction research group called C4 Research Group that has documented alien abductions that have been stopped by simply calling on the name Jesus. Supposedly there is no way within the ufology community to stop these abductions, besides calling on Jesus. My point is, Yeshua is awesome and it’s a blessing to live in the age of technology to have the resources to easily look up the Hebrew, and by all means use that name. Just remember the average Christian could get lost or confused by it. So taking baby steps and humbling yourself to be at the level of someone else can prevent a stumbling block when spreading Yah’s word.
