Are You Having A Panic Attack? (TEST)

Panic attacks are extremely scary to experience especially if you’ve never had one before.
Many people mistake panic attacks for a heart attack due to the symptoms they experience, people also feel like they are dying or going crazy during a panic attack too.
A panic attack is a sudden episode of intense fear when there is no real danger or apparent cause.
Panic attacks usually happen suddenly and without warning which makes them so scary to experience, they can happen anywhere, when you’re driving, whilst you’re in school or at work or when you’re fast asleep.
Are you having a panic attack? Find out by taking this self assessment test.

Ive been dealing with anxiety and panic attacks since i was 12. I'm now 40. I take klonopin for them but hate being on benzodiazepines. I get the detached feeling the most and after all these years its still very scary. They don't last as long and aren't as bad these days but they still suck. I was diagnosed with panic disorder when I was a teen.

@@AuthenticMentalHealth Doing good today thank you. How are you? The klonopin helps great but the problem is that I've been on it for so long that I'm depended on it. I'd rather not be depended on it but the non narcotic medication never helped as much.

I have gone through from panic disorder, especially social anxiety, but now I don't have any of them symptoms because when I knew that I had panic disorder I cured myself by hearing psychologists on KZread and broke the chain of panic disorder applying such techniques as benefitted me very much.

Well, I get panic attack often now. And longer, like hours/day. My panic started years ago. Mostly I feel my body and around me not feel real. Like I see myself in the movie. Sometimes like I going crazy and more I gonna die. Oh, yeah. Like gonna passed out too. Not nice feeling. I often checking my breathing and my swallowing during the episode. I got sleep apnea twice too.
