A very inspiring and strong message from a shepherd. I am praying one day, you will ordain me as a priest. 🙏

This was of great encouragement to me. Being a Jesuit Scholastic I myself suspected that denials, confrontations, desolation, frustration are signs of unsuitability to pursue in this vocation but now I understand that it's an invitation from Christ himself to be broken like him for others as we prepare ourselves to break his body at the altar for others. Who ever this Bishop was I praise and thank him for opening his whole self to be used as a medium to let the Christ's word flow from his very being. May God Bless You All.

They break you.. then, the church doesn't really need you.

Hi

Just a thought but if I didn't do my job correctly then many people would know very quickly. This is the same for most real jobs in the real world. For this a person in basically fancy dress is paid to go to a building and say 'magical' words over whatever. My question is 'how would you know if it was done correctly?' It's quite funny and immediately sad to think that grown men, all dressed up, say magical words and sprinkle magical water over a bunch of people. What really has happened? Why in 2021 do we still believe in superstition/unproven gods/and the power of magical words when there is absolutely no good evidence of anything supernatural. People around the world cannot even agree on which supernatural and which magical words to say over people and objects. Really if this guy dressed up did it wrong, no one would know. In real jobs in the real world then it does actually matter. They possibly get more money for their imaginary job than my real. Have a good day and may your magical sprinkles be wonderfully 'magic' for you. Best Gray
