Honestly the passive for burning mana would be such a cool idea to put on Galio. He's literally a mountain of petricite, it would make sense he just passively absorbs magic around him.

Never happening. Riot got rid of all mana burn by end of season 1 and have never even entertained it again like they have with hybrid items. LoL will never have real strategic depth.

my interpretation was that it suns you, so even if the execute didn't kill you team would finish them off

@@MeLlamoBauti it should be -5% current mana and not max mana, but other than that its fine. Only half of toplaners if not less have mana, and 5% less mana every 3rd attack isn't that much, it just means you have to be more careful with your spells and spacing.

think of it like clerics/paladins vs wizards/sorcerers in D&D. Kayle is Divine, her powers do not originate from chaos, like magic does, but order. Garen is effectively a paladin, harnessing the divine power given to him by his patron. it is not magic- it is channeling divinity.

Additionally it actually gives Garen something to think about using, for himself? Or for his team? The passive i like aswell were it should be changed for current mana so garen while isn't inetly using up reasources entirely is atleast making ylu have to be careful with pacing. Against Manaless champions it instead deals additonal Judgement damage(Magic damage).

Abilities changing with their lvl actually feels like you are lvling up. Would be nice for all champs but mostly those without evolution.

the passive is such a unique skill i love it. i hope they put this on garen or another champ. im a mage player and even though this would be good against literally everyone i play i think it's a very thematic and interesting ability.

You forgot the part where his q makes him unstoppable and gives him 500 extra ms for about 10 seconds

lore-wise, Garen isn't using any magic... his armor is made of magic-nullifying (rather, magic "absorbing") material In his R, you can see him kneel... he's praying to Kayle, the Goddess of Justice. Kayle recognized Garen as "worthy", thus answering to his prayer anytime he asks, no questions asked. It's the Kayle's sword that smites the enemy.

That passive could definitely be worked into to become part of normal garen (not with those stats of course, but something of the sort). The spending mana giving movement speed, that could be worked into his Q for example, his Q movement speed is stronger for every ability cast nearby within the last 5 seconds and burns x% of enemy mana. Some stuff of the sort, would be interesting and fit the character.

W as channeled ability would be good, also an %hp or even %missing mana R execute. Also, the VFX on lvl3 E is nuts here

passive should just have a component like grasp of the undying and deal a small % of max health as damage on auto attacks and spins on champions and heal garen by the damage dealt. with a few seconds (like 3 or 4) cooldown per champion. the spin range should just scale with garens champion size.

Fun fact: the lore explanation for Garen’s ultimate is that it is Kayle who is casting it. Garen is literally getting the “God” of Demacia to smite his enemies

Nobody talks about this enhanced W.. This is FIRE ! Imagine an armor like the Urgot legs but with pieces of armor

for the E skill demonstration, you should put 3 targets on one side of garen instead of 1 target on the left and right. This way, you can better show his increasing E ranges with levels. As the ranks improve, 1 more target would now take damage.

I think W should shoot the spells back at you, and maximum ultimate should create a Sky's descend shockwave

You just made me think of what it woukd take to make a syoas doom bot. Perhaps he just takes the ult of the player and just turns it into a doom bot version, or he just gets a random ukt he teies to use immediately every 30 seconds. Or both!

For those who don't know, Garen's ult is him asking for the help of the aspect of Justice, meaning Kayle. It's Kayle's blade that falls down from the sky.

@@bahemzki Well, that isn't completely true, even though I said it. Champion abilities are loosely based on their lore, mages do magic, warriors hit you with big fucking swords, there's a certain level of coherency between a champion's lore and their kit.

My vision of doom bot Garen: • Passive: OG effect + Upon receiving magic damage, heal 8% max Health in 3 sec, cd 15 sec. • Q: OG effect + erase all slows and incoming slows effect for the next 1 sec, burned 15~35 mana/energy of the target. • W: OG effect + Stores 100% of post-mitigation damage taken as grit on his resource bar up to 30% of max Hp. Consume Grit for extra shield, when the shield is consumed or perished, reduce Passive cd by 5 sec. • E: OG effect + enemy with armor reduction received extra 1% max Hp per spins as physical damage. • R: OG effect + now dealing extra physical damage to surrounding enemy champions that use mana/energy. Extra damage caculation is as follow: Grit × (1 + 0.5 × (1 - %mp/energy remain))

I honestly think Garen needs this buff… to keep up with 200 years
